We loved everything about this beautiful stay. The location was incredible with views of the mountains all around us and close to many attractions we wanted to see. The morning breakfasts were fresh and delicious. There were so many thoughtful touches to this property. The sauna was nice to come home to after hiking as well. The gardens, the pool, and plenty of areas to sit and relax. This was such a pleasant surprise, peaceful and stunning. The staff were also all incredibly friendly, Sarah was always there to help us with anything we needed. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner who also made sure we were having a great stay. My fiancé and I can’t wait to return again in the future!!

Located in Camacha, in a historic building, 10 km from Marina do Funchal, Quinta da Moscadinha is a farm stay with a garden and bar. Una bellissima oasi di relax e tranquillità! Contenti di aver trascorso i nostri 2 ultimi giorni sull'isola in questo incantevole posto in mezzo al verde. Colazione eccezionale (abbiamo gradito la colazione al sacco proposta visto il nostro checkout in piena notte), piscina e zona piscina eccezionali con possibilità di ordinare cibo e bevande. Camera molto bella e con tutto il necessario e staff davvero super! Da provare il ristorante della struttura, davvero buono!

Quinta das Hortensias is a traditional Madeira home located in Arco de São Jorge, on the north Coast of Madeira Island. The unit features views over the Atlantic Ocean and the lush Laurissilva Forest.... On the North side of Madeira, I sought out this lodging because I believed it would be quiet and beautiful, which it certainly was. In addition, the host Viriato was incredibly kind and responsive, with personalized recommendations and a connection to the lived life of the island. The cottages are nicely renovated old homes, both charming and comfortable which is my ideal in a stay away from home. The gardens and outside areas surrounding the cottage are expertly crafted places for taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean. There are several roads and paths where you can walk directly to the beachfront, and parking is easy if you brave the mountainous roads of Madeira. I Highly recommended!

The location was as depicted. Serene and verdant mountain countryside. A quiet and tranquil venue. Very relaxing. Cottages/studios were very comfortable and cozy. Situato a Ribeira Brava, il Quinta Terezinha offre un giardino, un barbecue, una terrazza, la connessione WiFi gratuita e la vista sul mare. 38 km da Porto Moniz. The place is amazing, nice view, nice garden with the possibility of picking some fruits. The kitchen is fully furnished, and we were warmly welcomed by the host. The place was perfect for my family, my son played a lot with the cats and the goats, we fed the chickens, we had a lot of fun. It is also in a strategical position, close to Funchal, Ribeira Brava, Ponta do Sol etc, but of course a car is needed.

The location is a bit difficult to reach, but totally worth it. The buildings and the surroundings are taken straight off a fairy tale. The apartment is fully functional. The hosts are incredibly kind and friendly, and speak good English.
