We had not realized that this place was actually an event hotel for weddings. We just wanted a hotel to spend the night before heading back to the airport the next day. That night, there was no wedding on, so we had a wonderful time in the beautiful setting.

A week is the perfect amount of time to visit Polignano a Mare and visit surrounding towns. The old town is super cute with lots of souvenir shops, unique artists and lots of yummy food available. As you walk through the maze of streets there were lots of little view points of the famous beach, caves and the Grotta Palazzese. Don't miss drinking a Special Coffee at the 'The Super Mago del Gelo Mario Campanella'. Don't forget to visit surrounding places like, Bari, Monopoli, Lecce and Ostuni (you will need a taxi from the station).

it is one of the magical locations in Italy. you must make a boat tour to watch the city from the sea, it is amazing. pay attention to choose a hotel with old town view. otherwise you will stay in a regular hotel with a street view or just overlooking the sea. ( covo dei saraceni is the best, or look for similar )

If you're looking for a relaxing break by the sea this is it! Plenty of promenade for evening strolls, food is fresh and lovely. It's busy on Sundays as people love spending the afternoons having a drink and the streets are busier than usual. We also went to Monopoli which is really close by and simply beautiful as well.

The history of the town, the cobbled marble streets flourished with bars and restaurants. The gelato bars and the friendly people. The Grotto caves along the shoreline and the heritage site where no buildings are allowed. Must try Panzarotti from Rotelina cafe and gelato and granita from Bar Gelateria (pink sign) and La Locanda Porta Picc, which is a nice restaurant with authentic Italian food. You must also try BBQ Octopus in a roll at La Cadel Polpo. Polignano is walkable with the main town and also has a train station.

Stella di Mare Dimora Charme is a perfect location in Polignano a Mare. The apartment was incredibly clean and beautiful with stone walls and vaulted ceiling. Very quiet neighbourhood but steps away from via Roma - a busy street with lots of restaurants. The apartment was stocked with breakfast essentials, including a great coffee maker and espresso pot. Complimentary bottle of wine was much appreciated after arriving. I was lucky that in April I could park just outside the door - a huge plus in a busy tourist town. Polignano itself is gorgeous - view of the iconic coast and buildings arising up from the stone. The historic centre is charming. The location is perfect for touring the beautiful Vallee d'Itria and its interesting hill towns.

Polignano is a really beautiful , traditional Italian town .

Polignano is a really beautiful , traditional Italian town . The beaches are small and stunning , the sea is sparkling . The old town is small but with very charming lanes and eateries and bars . I would recommend this as a good base for a holiday in Puglia . Surrounding town of monopoli was also wonderful . The walk to San Vito monastery was beautiful!! A really special place !!

Beautiful, spacious, immaculate suite large enough for a family or 2 couples. Perfectly clean, excellent kitchen facilities, and a very comfortable bedroom with AC that works really well. Lovely decor. Great location close to the old town and coast and beaches while only a minute away from a grocery store and 10 minutes from the train station. Delicious breakfast on terrace. Host is very communicative and flexible about luggage drop off & storage, as well as early check in. An excellent choice for a stay in Polignano a Mare!

We’d done our research and knew where we needed to be to make the most of out time in Polignano a Mare, but the price we paid - given its proximity to the main beach and centro storico - made this particularly good value for money. Despite being outside the old town and across the bridge the views from the breakfast room and restaurant were still spectacular and the staff were friendly and helpful with arranging day trips and transport to the railway station (which is only a 10 min walk away) on our final departure.

The accomodation was modern, sophisticated, clean, well-equipped with AC and TV in each room and really close to the Center of Polignano a Mare. The Manager was very nice and helpful, she recommended places to visit and restaurants to try tradicional Puglian dishes, as it was our first time in Italy. We spent 4 night here, I highly recommend it for couples seeking for a little relaxation in a romantic town, but even a party of 4 would have fit in comfortably. Last but not least, it was excellent value for money.

The property is incredibly clean and spacious, and within metres of stunning ocean views, cafes and restaurants. Absolutely amazing location. We were also provided fabulous tips and local recommendations which led to us trying the best gelato of our lives and an incredible dinner experience. Parking was mainly restricted to residents nearby the hotel but we found free parking around a 7-10 minute walk away on the outskirts of the city centre and it was a flat and easy walk with luggage.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of Polignano a Mare. The host Andrea was outstanding, he insisted on carrying our luggage up to the room himself (we don’t travel light!). He kindly showed us around the area and made some excellent recommendations. He was always on hand to answer any questions and kindly made a reservation for us at a beautiful beach club in Monopoly. We highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the center of Polignano.

Wonderful host, very helpful and made us feel at home. The breakfast was amazing! The place was beautiful and had a private open-air area as well. The furniture was of very high quality and very comfortable. The location is great for visiting the beautiful old town and the beach. Great for families! This was the one place out of all the places we stayed in Italy where it was also very easy to park our car.

Loved the location only a short distance from the bars and restaurants and beach area . The room was spotless and linen was changed during our 3 night stay . Cleaning staff were great . The host was very helpful and friendly . We had access to a roof area that had sun beds and chairs which was great and coffee and pastry were provided at a nearby cafe at no cost .

Perfect location—in the Old Town but very near the entrance that’s beside the beach. No stairs or steps from Old Town entrance (the arch) to the hotel and it’s a short 1-minute walk only. Also, the manager/reception is great. Very communicative and helped me with anything I needed. He really went above and beyond his job to help me during my stay.

The homemade breakfast was amazing. It truly was our best breakfast we had in our 3 weeks in Italy, and we traveled through multiple cities. The family who runs the hotel is fantastic and so kind. Also, the view? You can’t beat it. The sea view room and the rooftop breakfast were the best parts of this, besides the amazing location to the beach!

Nice individual room houses with outside patio . Room was spacious and bathroom fine. Great breakfast provided and night meals good too! Pool is fabulous. Marina was close to take a cave ride booked from hotel and very reasonable. Beach was different and a bit crowded on weekend but was so unique.
