Amazing island with breathtaking beaches. As a Greek I am used to perfect beaches so if this is coming from me you can take my word as a guarantee! Well preserved road network, very important in the case that you decide to rent a car (best way to explore and enjoy this gem of an island) as you will feel instantly safe to drive. A must visit and only half an hour away from Barcelona by plane (don't come close to lose your flight back, Mallorca has a huge airport-I learnt that the hard way).

A big, big surprise for me.
A big, big surprise for me. I admit I hadn't made much of a research, and with the population just two-third of Malaga's, I expected a nice seaside town with beautiful yet small historic center. Instead, it's a city with imperial grandeur, vast pedestrian zones, incredible greenery and beautiful works of art in public space. And the cathedral is a monumental gem. Must return one day.

We loved our stay in Palma!
We loved our stay in Palma!
Of course, the blue sky and sunshine were a factor, but the tree lined streets, narrow alleyways and historic architecture would be attractive all year round!
We found people friendly and helpful.
We were spoiled for choice for eating venues.
We went back twice to El Apendre, not far from our hotel, as my husband said they cooked steak (over a fire) better than anywhere he's been!
In Palma, there were fewer bar and restaurant staff who were confident in speaking English than I'd expected and it was worth taking our Spanish dictionary/phrase book!

Loved the quirkyness of the old town and all the cobble streets. Lots of places to stop for drinks & tapas and lots of nice bakeries too. Thought food & drink all reasonably priced.
Expected the Marina and promenade area to be more sophisticated and ambient than it was, but did see some amazing yachts!
The cathedral is amazing to see.

Bustling city but away from the majority of the hen/stag party groups. Plenty of historical and cultural places to visit. Maybe not somewhere that younger children would find interesting. Wide selection of bars and restaurants. Plenty of up-market shops if that's your thing. Cathedral and Royal Palace well worth visiting. The Arab Baths is also a little corner of tranquillity. Easy place to get round on foot to the major attractions. Soller train makes for a picturesque change to the city - but either book ahead or get to the station at opening to buy tickets

The beaches, the sea, the food and the people are on top.
The beaches, the sea, the food and the people are on top. The Cathedral and the main square around it are impressive, rich and elegant. Some other central streets are similar to la Rambla in Barcelona. Except for these main sites, the city of Palma surprised me with many shabby buildings. But overall it's a great location for the holiday in May or perhaps in autumn when it's not yet so hot.

Beautiful boutique hotel in good location in the old town. Huge room for 3 of us. Best breakfast ever for this type of hotel and we have been to a few in Spain. Huge variety of prepared fresh fruit and pastries which looked amazing. Staff very friendly and accommodating to our needs and requests. I had a lovely ‘cake’ and bottle of fizz delivered to our room to celebrate a big birthday which was much appreciated. Also very nice to have the small spa to ourselves for a few hours. Everywhere was beautifully clean.
The kindness and attention of the staff in this hotel is truly exceptional. I celebrated my birthday here and they went above and beyond to accommodate us and made our stay unforgettable, thank you! :) We stayed a few days in Palma in December so went for a central hotel instead of one on the beach and the location was perfect. The room was very clean and spacious with free daily refills of drinks in the mini fridge (coke, water, beer).
The hotel is in the middle of the best part of town. Its location is just perfect for bars , restaurants and wonderful shopping. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming, we had a fantastic room with a terrace. Wonderful breakfast room with a great selection of food. Also a great bar with very nice prices. Welcome bottle of wine and a free mini bar for two nights. Exceptional service and a nice touch of. We will definitely be back.
The hotel was located in the best area of Palma, a few minutes walk to the cathedral, palace and seashore. The breakfasts offered buffet or full breakfast with fresh juices, fruits, bread and local cheeses and ham. Delicious! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms were large, the beds extremely comfortable. We also enjoyed the terraces with lovely views. perfect!
Fantastic location at the centre of the old town, close to the cathedral and the shopping area. Great breakfast, very friendly staff (particularly the receptionist of the night shifts was super helpful), sparkling clean and very quiet. Also the lounge it has is great for a quiet drink before dinner.
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in - 100% recommended.
This hotel might not be located in the top location of Palma, but it gives a good opportunity to find yourself in good distance between the old town and the best nearby beach of Cala Maior. The building itself seen from the outside takes you back to the 80's but the interior is very nice and the rooms are big and modern
I never normally leave reviews but I can only say they have staff with the perfect mix of professionalism and personality who go the extra mile to help. Great rooms, friendly staff and a brilliant location in the old town. The perfect boutique hotel for a city stay. A special thanks to Luis for helping when needed.
Very convenient location. The hotel itself is cozy, but a little "old". Nevertheless, there are no complaints about the quality. Everything is clean, well renovated, good attentive staff. If you are looking for a hotel at a reasonable price closer to the center of Palma, this is a good choice.
Location is excellent... just a few metres from the beach and also within easy reach (2-3mins walk) of the bus into the city centre. For us, the staff were the best part. Each one was friendly, professional and we felt right at home from the minute we stepped into the hotel. We'll be back!
I liked every particular thing about this hotel. I went there to celebrate my anniversary and they made it an unforgettable anniversary. Thank you Nixe Palace and a big thanks to the staff especially Walter the concierge guy He is the best.
The hotel and room were amazing! Absolutely met our expectations, and the area was wonderful! I definitely recommend this hotel as your stay in Mallorca as I wish we had more time there! Wonderful staff and restaruant on the property.
Excellent boutique hotel in the heart of Palma's old town. Perfect location, great service, excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. The small plunge pool is ideal for refreshing after a walk through the city.
Beautifully decorated boutique hotel. The breakfast options were great. The location very good for buses towards the old town or nearby beaches... The bus stops very close to the hotel along the same street.
