5 stars for this hotel is a big shame. Couldnt avoid the smell of deepfried food, the constant noise of the toilet that didnt work well. It was horrible and above all a big middle finger to all the Masseria’s nearby with a 4 star rating. This hotel isnt worth 3 stars.
Cala Corvino is just 200 metres from the coast and its beautiful beaches. It features a swimming pool, tennis court, and air-conditioned rooms. It offers a gourmet restaurant and is set in its garden....

the staff was really nice and helpful,
we had a private apartment with kitchen, it was ok, good kitchen equipment and big fridge,
nice flowers on the balcony,
the region of puglia is very nice, close to nice cities if you have a car, from the resort you can make some nice hikes on the coast to the nearest cities - we recommend hike to Polignano al Mare with a designated trial on the coast (look for white-red marks)
can be good for families with kids and with a car;

We are happy that we avoided Bari and instead chose wonderful Monopoli as home base for day-trips across the region. While Monopoli and the cities in general are clean and tidy, there is one general issue for the region: Garbage. It's everywhere. Plastic, glass, you name it, is all littered along roadsides and even on the coastal pathways. The magnitude is staggering and it's such a shame.

I'm very glad I chose Monopoli over Polignano a Mare as a base for our trip in Puglia. Taste is, of course, subjective, but I think Monopoli is the nicest coastal town around Bari, it has a fairly big old town with a lot of quaint streets to explore, plenty of restaurants and even a good stretch of rocky, cliff-y coastline you can actually walk on, peppered with a few small beaches. I imagine it gets just as busy in summer but in April it was less crowded than Polignano and overall feels like there's more space. It's also very well connected, ~ 20 min from Ostuni, ~ 5 min from Polignano, ~1h10 from Lecce, ~30 min from Bari all on the main trainline we used everyday.

Monopoli is a very clean and safe place where you feel comfortable exploring both at day and at night. The historic areas are perfect for pedestrians. We really enjoyed walking the pathways along the Adriatic Sea with historic castles and fortresses, the docks with fishermen returning with their catch, and the beautiful waterfront views.

Before you visit Monopoli, I recommend that you get to know the history of Puglia and it's towns. The history is very interesting and helps to understand why this region looks the way it does.
Words can’t describe how amazing this property and the family is. We truly felt like home away from
home. First, we mixed up the buses and they came pick us up from the station. We were so grateful after all this travelling. My sister is vegan and every morning they prepared her special breakfast that even at the best hotels she didn’t get (?!). Everything was perfect. The hospitality, vibes, kindness… the pool, oh the pool. Best B&B in Puglia and we will come back for sure!🤌🏻 Thank you for an amazing Italian experience!
We made a roadtrip through Italy and this was by far our best stay! We loved everything about it, so even extended our stay! Beautiful traditional trulli, lovely decoration and furniture (one of the trulli's has a very romantic bath), spacious outside area where you can pick your own olives, grenades and figs in the garden. It's only a 10 minutes drive to Monopoli, but there are restaurants and supermarkets closeby as well. And
Gabriele is the sweetest and most helpful host we have met so far. Thank you for everything!
Beautiful apartment, lots of light, tall ceilings, large and airy with two balconies. A unique gem in the historic center. Gianni and Antonella are very attentive hosts, always available and ensuring that everything is good. The best part of the apartment is the location. It is steps away from one of the best piazzas (Garibaldi), full of restaurants and bars, also great people watching or hanging out by the fountain (great for toddlers). Beautiful beaches are walking distance. It was an amazing stay, thank you!
We liked everything about it: the entire design and attention to details, the very engaging and nice host, who waited for us with a few things in the fridge, and explained whatever piece of information we needed + (and this is a huge plus) its location: near a market, a pharmacy, city centre & old town + 10 mins on foot to a cute sandy beach.
Monopoli has a really beautiful cathedral, and was overall a chic town to explore and discover a little bit of Puglia!
Absolutely wonderful stay! The location was perfect, just a few minutes from the train station and the historic center. It was very spacious, the balcony had a nice view, and it was modern and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and perfect. It wasn’t loud at night either. Check-in was great and the host was very helpful and responsive whenever I needed help. Would definitely recommend as the best place to stay in Monopoli!
Everything. We’ve been in a road trip in the south of Italy, and we stayed in some of the top rated villas, b&b’s and hotels of the Amalfi Coast and Puglia, and we could say without any hesitation that this place was by far the best. It is located in the historical centre of Monopoli, the staff is incredibly nice and helpful, and the apartment is just WOW ( like a dream vacation home, far away from your home) I highly recommend it.
Everything about A C-Caste was exceptional, its a beautiful property in a perfect location for exploring Monopoli. Our host Riccardo was so helpful, both before we arrived, answering questions and booking transfers from the airport and whilst we were staying. A true professional, passionate about providing the best service possible. The breakfast was amazing!
The location was great, right in the middle of the old town full of restaurants and bars. The nearest beachest were only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The place was very clean and spacious, and the fridge had been stocked with some water. The person we dealt with was really kind, and I could tell that she did her best to make sure the stay went well.
The location of the b&b is amazing just a few steps from the sea in the historic center of Monopoli. Good restaurants, cafes are also nearby. Monopoli is a real gem in the region and in this place you stay the center of it. Our room was very comfortable and I especially loved the bathroom. Valeria was really nice and helpful. ☺️
the owner has been hospitable and welcoming. the apartment was clean and Monopoli the best. very peaceful place ideal to rest. the beaches, the temperature, the clean sea, the old town with the restaurants the and bars - everything 2 minutes from the apartment. it’s been a real pleasure to visit Monopoli - thank you
Very kind and attentive host! Antonella was a great communicator. The apartment is in the best part of old town, close to numerous beaches, restaurants and churches. It was spotless and the fridge was well stocked with juice, milk, yogurts and jams. A lovely surprise and very generous. We loved our time here.
amazing little apartment in the middle of Monopoli, furnishings were all well maintained and had everything you needed.
be aware that properties in Monopoli are a little bit challenging for tall people as most of the hotels etc are old town buildings with small doorways and spaces
Loved the location- it was perfect for exploring the beautiful village of Monopoli! We had 3 very nice beaches close by and still it was a great walk on the seafront to Old Town! Rocco was great at communicating and was always there to help!
Great location in recently modernized building in the center of beautiful Monopoli. Warm, welcoming hosts with great breakfast (Filipo makes the best Cappuccino in Puglia 😉) and good travel recommendations.
The property is set within an olive grove. It’s small boutique with not very many guests, so it was quiet and serene. We really enjoyed having the pool. And it was central to many things in Monopoli.
Amazing place to stay in the heart of Monopoli! The hosts are some of the best I've ever had helping make your stay the best it can be from start to fininsh.
Our stay at Hotel Don Ferrante was perfect! My wife and I loved the room, the location, the amenities, and the friendliness and hospitality of the staff.
