Great location, very clean facilities, great breakfast. My only complaint is that I found the bed to be very, very firm. If you like firm beds you’re good! The location is fabulous. We only stayed one night wish we had stayed longer, there is so much to see here and so many great restaurants!

Évora is a beacon of heritage in the heart of rural Portugal. Life is played out among narrow, cobbled streets and whitewashed buildings that provide welcome shade. Most buildings are decorated with blue or yellow trim, giving this laidback city a coherent feel.
Blue tiles adorn the incredible interior of the Misericórdia Church, and the Church of St John the Evangelist also features this typical Alentejo style. The most outlandish is the Church of St Francis where one chapel is created entirely from human bones and skulls.
The Gothic cathedral has a peaceful cloister and next door is Évora Museum with its collection of medieval, Islamic and Roman artefacts. In the large square in front sit remains of the Roman Temple, and Roman bath ruins lie under the town hall.
The Palace of the Dukes of Cadaval has a turret-like tower, similar to those in the city walls. One of Évora’s most impressive monuments – the 16th-century Silver Water Aqueduct – passes right through the walls and used to end in large Praça do Giraldo, the city centre’s main square. Some of its stone arches have been cleverly bricked in to create bars and restaurants.
Booking.com’s accommodation in Évora includes luxury hotels with pools, cheap hostels near the train station and guest houses by the university.

Evora is a lovely city full of history and unexpected corners. We used Evora as our "base-camp" to visit many other interesting places in the region, including the megaliths of Cromeleque des Almendres, Estremoz, Vilaviçosa and Elvas.

My husband and I really enjoyed our brief stay in Evora.
My husband and I really enjoyed our brief stay in Evora. The historic center is very walkable overall, so it is easy to see several things in a short time. We were impressed with the Cathedral and the Chapel of Bones, but what we enjoyed the most was the lovely Jardim Público de Évora (public park and gardens). It was the end of April and Springtime has been wet this year, so everything was green and the flowers were blooming. The temperature was perfect for our visit.
We ate dinner at D'Iberica and it was delicious! The waitstaff there were very nice and recommended a delicious wine for our meal. The menu was extensive and everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked wonderful.

Evora is a one-night stay town.
Evora is a one-night stay town. The Chaple of Bones was a great place to spend Halloween. Interesting history. A walk around the Public Park with the Peacocks was a fun experience. We ate at Dona Laura Restaurant which I would highly recommend to others. The Hotel was centrally located and we walked everywhere.
The one negative comment was that Evora was the first city I visited where beggars approached you aggressively holding small children.

Terrific historic town, wonderful preservant of ancient buildings, culture and history mixed with modern life. Disappointed that the palace and private church were closed on Monday—tour book had indicated otherwise. Definitely a town with rich heritage worth visiting.

Historical, relatively quiet, you can walk around feeling relaxed. Most restaurants are a little pricy. Having just experienced an expensive but very low quality restaurant in Sintra, we didn't dare to try expensive restaurants in Evora. Hotels are mostly high quality. It is nice to spend a few days to enjoy this great town.
The location of the hotel is perfect, just outside the city walls of Evora so everything is in very easy walking distance but also you have the convenience of parking on site. The three swimming pools were excellent (we didn't try the indoor pool because the weather was so warm). The rooms were spacious and the shower excellent. Very comfortable, large, firm beds.
The breakfast options were generous, extensive and tasty. The staff were very helpful. Overall a great place to stop for a few days exploring the beautiful city of Evora.
The hotel is in a great location in Évora, very well placed near the city main square which allows a nice flexibility when touring around town. Fresh and modern decor overall, and our room had lots of light and storage, including air conditioning and TV, extra pillows, towels and a tea kettle.
The staff was very nice and friendly, and the breakfast was simple and enjoyable. We visited during the summer, so it could have had more fruit and beverages options.
Selina Evora exceeded my expectations in terms of pet friendliness! Other than this the hotel is super beautiful, the bed sheets and towels are comfy as it is the bed. The staff is quite friendly and the location is very convenient. We could go to the history center on foot and we didn’t have to worry where to park the car. The pool was beautiful and the environment super cool. I’d certainly return ! :)
We wanted to make reservations for dinner but could not get a booking until 9:30 PM. To late for us. So, we had dinner at the Olive Italian Restaurant on site. It was a blast and the food was excellent. We ordered a pizza and had the opportunity to watch first hand how it was made. It was a blast. Kudos to the staff who were so competent, and so nice. Loved it!
We enjoyed staying at the Hilton in Evora. The beds were 10/10 delivered a peaceful sleep, just what we needed. Excellent amenities and the breakfast was delicious, we were spoilt for choice. Parking was available at the hotel's parking area which was very convenient. Located centrally and within walking distance to other restaurants and parks.
The hotel is lovely. Our room was spacious and airy and new/ spotless. It was very comfortable, and the windows and shades kept out noise and heat (the street is somewhat busy and Evora can be hot).
Quality bathroom products, nespresso in the room and free water!
We loved the rooftop terrace. The location is ideal for walking around Evora.
The hotel is much near the city square, which is the center of Evora. We could reach any tourist attraction by walking within 10 minutes.
The room is very clean and quiet at night. And we can feel that the host tries so hard to make it comfortable by using high-quality bedding. There even is a wool Portugal blanket.
Evora is an amazing town with the historical area within the walls of an ancient fort. It was as if we were transported to medieval times. Other than some difficulty in driving into the hotel and parking due to narrow access, the room, amenities, comfort and quality of help were excellent.
The hotel has a fabulous salt-water pool, which sure was a relief on those hot days. Very friendly staff. Perfect location just outside of downtown Evora, making those trips to the surrounding white-washed, hilltop villages even easier. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Evora, and I'll be back.
Modern, comfortable hotel in the old city. Clean 'Scandinavian' style furnishings and comfortable beds. Very clean, uncluttered and calm. Good breakfast with everything one wants in the mornings. Location is easy to find and free parking in underground garage is a bonus in Evora.!
This place was a highlight of our trip in Portugal! I even tried to cancel my next hotel booking so I could stay longer! It's wonderful, a hidden gem. The pictures don't do it justice. Peaceful, quiet, nature, awesome owners and dogs, best breakfast, scenery. We loved it!
Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Evora. Staff are great and welcomed our family and looked after us well. Room had all the modern facilities while retaining a sense of history. We ate at restaurant for dinner and it was great as was breakfast. Highly recommend.
The hotel is located close to many of the sites in Évora. Well taken care of and a very helpful staff. Our room was the oldest in the hotel and very unique. Breakfast was very very good with variety and excellent quality. Breakfast and parking were extra each day.
The hotel is a building of character and has been renovated to a high standard. The rooms are very comfortable and the location is ideal for exploring the historic centre of Evora. On-site car parking is a bonus. We would be happy to stay there again.
Location to the old town of Evora was excellent, the front desk staff were very helpful in suggesting a great restaurant nearby that turned out to be our best meal during our visit. The breakfast in the hotel was good but they seemed short staffed.
Very stylish hotel. There was live music in the bar on Saturday, which was an unexpected bonus. Also, a small shop selling lovely local products that you do not see in Evora itself.
Great spot in Evora, right outside of walled old city- a 5 minute walk.
Very helpful staff.
Very plentiful breakfast with lots of options.
parking was right in front of hotel.
The Nice peopel working in Old Evora hostel, and that they could help me change my booking. The kitchen and living room was very Nice. The breakfast was good.
