All staff in hotel was very nice to me and helped me to feel like at home. The room was very nice and I had a good sleep. I also appreciated early check in at 12 that gave me whole afternoon for hiking in Gorges. The Manager took me there with his car without any charge. Strongly recommend this hotel.

Amazing Kasbah, renovated with historical accuracy and authenticity. At the location there is a unique display of pre-saharan culture, crafts and also books on the region. Food was very tasteful and fairly priced. Staff was helpful and polite. The pool was very clean and welcoming.

You really don't need to stop here and stay over... The todra gorge is beautiful to see, but you could drive up to it and out again.
I recommend stopping at Family el Mabrouk restaurant on your way into the gorge for a truly authentic experience. They are so full of energy. They'll dress you up in traditional wear and take photo's for you. They even took me with to the Souk in town. Highly recommend.

I went through the local market and the downtown area, it's nothing out of the ordinary, it's typical Moroccan, I like the crowd there, it's a commotion that moves and keeps the city alive during the day, but at night it's quiet, I didn't see much because I was welding a small part of the time. Good food .

Among the palm groves we visited during our two week road trip the one in Tinerhir was the greenest, with people working in the fields. What is also nice that the Gorges are close. However you should go for a 4h walk.

Tinerhir is very authentic, with beautiful landscapes of the kasbah and the palmeraie. Nice panorama's and the Todra gorge is closeby. We arrived by bus and had lunch at the mosque square. The lunch was also very good. The had dinner at the Guesthouse and it was our best, prepared and served with dedication.

To be clear, we stayed outside of Tinerhir closer to the gorge. But, the area has extraordinary beauty and it was well worth the long drive from Marrakesh. We were there for only 24 hours and could have stayed a couple of more days for hiking and just soaking in the landscape.
Very friendly and welcoming hosts, they gave us suggestions on what to do in the area and made us feel right at home. The hostel has a private parking, efficient WiFi and colorful and spacious common areas with beautiful views of the area. Our room had a private bathroom and shower, everything clean. We had dinner at the hostel and Rachid cooked us one of the best dinners we had in Morocco so far (meatballs tajine si real delish)! If you’re looking for a quiet and friendly environment for your stay near the Gorge this is the place!
This Riad/hotel was a welcome oasis after a long drive. Beautifully decorated, with nice common areas, pool, bar, and terrace all looking out to a palm area. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room had a small balcony looking out to the pool, terraces and palms along with -nice decor, beautiful big bathroom, and comfy bed.
The pool was so refreshing and a great place to have a pre dinner drink. We had dinner which was ok (could have had more spices), on the terrace as the sun went down- nice setting.
The hospitality provided by the staff was so warm and caring. The owner made sure we knew exactly how to get to the hike we wanted to do in the gorge and that we were well prepared. The view of the gorge and mountains from the room was spectacular! The room was basic but very comfortable. The food was some of the best we ate in Morocco, especially the chicken brochettes. Forget about staying in Tinghir -- if you want to be up close with nature and the mountains, La Petite Gorge is the place to be.
It was a great pleasure to be hosted by the great people, who truly love their jobs. The owner was very pleasant and receptionist Gamout became our friend the moment we stepped in the hotel. Hotel is new and worth mentioning extremely comfortable beds that you don't want to leave at the morning. The view from the window is absolutely stunning and instagrammable..We were lucky to find this hidden gem.
Cosy place, very nice, super comfy and clean. Fantastic welcome with lovely dinner followed by a very good breakfast in the morning. Immersed in the gorges the hotel is perfect to start a day with a morning hike. The host organized everything with the local guide Mahjoub. The hole was just perfect and he took us around the mountains to see the nomads who live in the mountains. Again...lovely stay
First of all spacious and very clean! The owner received me very well and looking to please me ! They have very quality beds and all sheets were very clean . towels of very good quality hotels is newly renovated. They have 100 % marocan food , well prepared and quality. it is a very pleasant hotel, even if it is not big, but it has enough spaces for the dining room. the lobby has room to sit.
Impressive view from the rooftop and balconies, you can overlook the fields and ancient clay buildings on the other side of the river.
Close to the hotel several paths lead to the fields where you can walk to Tinghir and even up to Todra gorge (2,5 -3h walk).
Breakfast was simple and good, also the tajine and couscous were very tasty.
The host was very friendly and always in a good mood.
Beautiful, clean and newly renovated property. The rooms were some of the best that we stayed in within Morocco. The views of the mountains are very beautiful. Most importantly, the owner and staff are very hospitable and friendly. We felt like we were at home when we stayed here. Genuinely an amazing stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
This hotel is an oasis of cleanliness and calm in the midst of a rather grungy city at the southern edge of the Todhra gorge. Being built into an old castle gives the hotel a unique charm that can't be replicated in modern construction. Certainly the nicest hotel in town, although that's not saying much given the town.
hotel tombuktu is an interesting hotel. everything well organized, with lots of african culture from the old routes to Timbuktu. Thus it helps to learn another aspect of the rich culture of that region.
Besides that it is a sound hotel with nothing overwhelming to expect. They serve beer and wine, also during Ramadan!
Lovely lovely hotel by the river with a nice pool. It was super nice being able to enjoy the river sounds at nice, super peaceful. I wish I booked 2 nights to really enjoy the pool and the surroundings. It was beyond my expectations. Dinner and breakfast were also really delicious!
The host is super helpful and happy to talk about the area, Morocco, his story, or anything else you might want to know. It feels like a real guesthouse and not like a glorified hostel or something. Very comfortable and homey. The panorama is also gorgeous, obviously.
The location and views from the hotel are superb. It's really close to the gorge as well! Very family friendly! Our kids became friends with the owner's kids and in the end almost didn't want to leave. :) We really enjoyed our stay.
Great host and we got a beautiful room! There is lots of parking right next to the hotel which is awesome. dinner was great and the view from the balcony was beautiful.
Everything was perfect. The hotel is located on a hill so you need to climb 3 minutes to reach. The host Zakaria is the perfect host. Thank you so much bro!
Our room and bathroom were both large, attractive and well-aired. The hotel is in a quiet area, but close to the main road. The price is very reasonable.
