Beach and surf town with a very relaxed atmosphere.
Beach and surf town with a very relaxed atmosphere. There are many restaurants, but the very best food is outside the city in a place called Cafe com Cacau. The food and the people there are worth a trip to Itacare. For tours, you have only two options, in my opinion - Dona (Sra.) Cida, a 74 years old lady who will show you the beauties of Itacare beaches and forests. And Leo, he is a master tour guide who is born and raised in Itacare, he knows every place and everyone in town.

Lovely views of the ocean from the main area. Dining and seating all open plan, so a very relaxed atmosphere. Decent infinity lap pool, more of a dipping pool to cool down in. One is very much on display if sunbathing which I wasn’t there to do as this was a stop off point before moving on. It is quiet, the property garden is beautifully maintained hosting tropical species and humming birds. Rooms are comfortable, they enjoy privacy and a hammock by the garden side. The staff is really nice, the breakfast generous and they are hosting yoga/tai-chi classes almost everyday.

The roof terrace has a pool and nice views, perfect to relax after a day on the beach. Everything was immaculate clean and the administration was walkways helpful.
