Marmaris is a lovely place.
Marmaris is a lovely place. Our favourite bar/restaurant is PUKKA on the sea front just behind Blue Port. The food is exceptional in every way, from how it is served and the quality of the produce. We stayed in December and dined there everyday.
You can travel very easily on the little buses so getting around is simple and you can now pay by card which was great.

Loved the city, my favourite spot for a slow relaxed holiday. We ate fast food ( Burger King) but the breakfast was perfect. Very authentic and lovely to start with. You can get around Marmaris by foot mostly and walk through the city. Easy to commute to and from the bus station.

Location is fantastic.
Location is fantastic. We have stayed before so knew to book the larger rooms as the others are very small. Very step stair access from the street and more stairs to your room and roof top restaurant. No lift option. They do carry your bags up for you which is what makes this a good choice. Many, many Restaurants down stairs to choose from and all fantastic.

We booked Marmaris knowing nothing about it and was surprised how loud and brash it was.
The locals are friendly but you get harassed to go into a restaurant or buy something.
Always ask the price first as just as we got there I got charged 500 lira for an ice cream on the seafront.
At night there is one street where the music is deafening and as an ex clubber myself I would say the decibels are way too high.
Naturally Marmaris is beautiful but what they’ve done to accommodate tourists makes parts ugly. The restaurants were more expensive that we thought and on average paid £100 for four people with a couple of drinks for two of us.
The old town was our favourite place to escape the madness. Our favourite restaurant was Fita with amazing traditional Turkish food and wonderful staff and no more expensive than the others but great food … well worth going to.
Also the boat trips to coves and a small village to escape the noise and relax.
Sad to say we wouldn’t return but that’s just us as looking for more tradition Turkish experience.
Also at the airport the security were full on and I got checked for drugs twice at the beginning and at boarding, never had this experience travelling before travelling and found off putting.

It is a great city for sightseeing.
It is a great city for sightseeing. Beautiful woods bordering the sea. Nice excursions and a variety of activities to do. Cheap compared to Europe or America. You can find reasonable accommodation at an affordable price. Important to book your trips before coming. I also booked a taxi from and to Dalaman airport. Cost around 50 dollars. Was very comfortable. People there are not proficient in English. You need to use a translation app. most of the time.
A beautifully run hotel with friendly staff who make you feel a part of the place straight away. Lots of nice seating areas and a place by the pool to unwind. Plenty of street parking if you are using a hire car and a very short walking distance to the main road for a Dolmus to get you between Marmaris and Icemeler. The wifi signal is strong around all the floors. The hotel is in a quiet location, so suitable for families and older people who do not want to be next to the disco or loud noise filtering from other venues late into the night.
The location is perfect. Hotel (as all of them in Marmaris at the beach front) has it's own little beach. You can reach beach by foot, it takes you only two minutes, because it's in front of the hotel. The view is amazing. The hotel is within 20 minutes by foot to the city centre. But it's far enough that the nights are quet and not as loud as if the hotel was in the centre, which is great. The staff are all very friendly, nice and willing to help. The room was clean, air condition was working perfectly.
This is the first time in 20 years we have been to Marmaris and went back to Club Sema because of its location, it has been totally renovated to a very high standard. The new owners and every member of staff have been extremely exceptional and friendly. We will definitely return to Club Sema next year. Thanks you Halil, Sahó, Veli, Islam,Jeremy, Maids, Kitchen Staff and Reception for making us all feel so very welcome and can't wait to see you all next year. 1st class holiday 1st class hotel ☺️♥️☺️♥️
The staff were absolutely amazing, as was the food choice. I particularly loved the dessert selection every night aswell as during the tea and coffee hour. The food in the restaurant on the 5th floor was fabulous too with amazing views.
The rooms were super comfortable and kept very clean and tidy, we had a lovely view of sea and pool. The hotel is in a great location to walk into town with a lovely view the entire way.
It was our first time in Turkey and we really enjoyed it!
This was the best place we stayed in Turkey.
We were a group of 10 people staying in different rooms and all were clean, with air conditioning, good shower and toilet.
The staff was very friendly and the food is great.
Also the pool and pool area are great.
We stayed there for just one night before going to a sailing week and we decided to go back for dinner and breakfast when we returned from the boat.
The hotel is very good value for money. The location and the facilities were great. Breakfast was really good too. But the best part was the staff, especially New Jersey Boy, who went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and checking in to see I arrived safely and had everything I needed as a solo traveler. If I come back to Marmaris, I will definitely be staying here again, no doubt.
I was in the Emre Beach side (Emre Hotel is across the road, but all the main facilities/restaurant is in the Emre Beach side).
Was on the top floor overlooking the bar and the sea which was lovely during sunset but did have it downside (see negatives).
The food selection was brilliant and drinks nice on all inclusive. Always enough space for a sunbed either on the beach or round the pools.
A nice hotel with amazing views of turunc village, built with attentive to every small detail, very polite staff, breakfast was more than great with new dish every day and fresh omelet on request, they offer a variety of choices for lunch dinner with very reasonable prices.
Around half an hour to Marmaris city by Dolmus,
very close to turunc city center and local markets like Migros and Sok
We enjoyed our stay in LA Beirut hotel and it's the second time, rooms the garden side are better than sea view side, it meets all your needs..Alona the beautiful lady speaks very good English, staff are helpful and friendly...thank you and we sure will comeback every time we visit marmaris...Nabil Alshar'e and family from jordan Irbid.
Beautifully landscaped garden with 6 pools, comfortable rooms, EXCELLENT entertainment team, especially the kids club team, good food. Very clean sea water, much better than in Marmaris central. Excellent holiday and would stay again at this hotel. All Inclusive drinks just kept flowing, including premium branded drinks.
Staff was very kind and helpful especially Mustafa bey who tried to help in any small issue which even was not related to the hotel. Room was clean with the balcony. Location was super. Literally less than 100 steps to the beach. Breakfast also was good. Briefly ,advise to all travellers to Marmaris
This hotel has the absolute best hospitality ever! We stayed in all kind of hotels, including some of the exclusive properties; but nothing compared to the genuine hospitality of the staff. Kudos to Ferhat, Onur, and Nadira!
Great view of the Marmaris Harbor.
The general manager was a really nice person and understanding. He did care about his guests and did try to help by giving us an upgrade, but the upgrade was still below a 5 star standard, the standard of the hotel rooms are 3 star at best. The view was good.
Close to the castle, location is great, walking distance to most interesting places.
The Host is a sweetheart, caring and attentive to ur needs.
Clean all around
Easy access
Perfect for a short stay in Marmaris, great value.
The hotel has a great location very close to the promenade of Marmaris and many bars and restaurants. Our room had a small balcony from which you could see the sea. The breakfast was simple but enough.
Excellent option for those who visit Marmaris in any way. Location is perfect, hotel grounds really clean and tide and everything is really, really good. Plus the big bright smile from hotel stuff.
A hotel that contains all the requirements for a comfortable stay in terms of cleanliness, services that are all inclusive in food and snacks, and facilities such as swimming pools and the sea.
