    Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir was the reason we went to Varanasi but we discovered more & more with each passing day. More Mandir, more stories and more discoveries. The city never ceases to surprise you. Narrow streets, zillion shops, food all around and so many faces, you just cant stop getting overwhelmed. This city cant be absorbed in a single lifetime. A must visit once in a life. But yes, be prepared for CRAZY traffic because of Locals + Tourists.

    Varanasi is a pilgrimage city, heritage city with a history of 3000 years. It has a very special appeal and charms to Indians and for foreigners willing to explore India. For me it was a memory revisited after more than 50 years. Varanasi is a place to experience spiritual -the temples, Ganga Aarati, evening cruise - to happy indulgences - famous eateries of so many varieties, shops for souvenirs, Varanasi sarees and everything else, all within a small place. However, the surging and unmanageable crowd coupled with absolutely chaotic and undisciplined traffic that do not allow even a bit of personal space bore one down very soon. Well, still it's an experience to enjoy it to the full.

    5 star is less for this place. The view, facilities, staff everything is too good. Every staffs of this place are welcoming and are always there to help you any hour without any delay. They also have all kinds of facilities for elderly people. They rooms have over ghat view where you can enjoy by sitting in your room itself. Also they mention and take you to recommended varanasi shops where you will get best stuff of food, shopping and sweets. Pretty helpful and would love to visit again.     No visit to India is complete without a homestay in an Indian home. Kamal and his wife, Manjou, were the consummate hosts. Manjou's breakfasts are veg and NOT to be missed. Their home is comfortable with all of the necessary amenities. Driving in India is not for the faint of heart and their driver, Babloo, was superb in navigating the streets which are crowded in Varanasi with buses, autos, motorcycles, scooters, and bicycles.....not to mention pedestrians. Not unlike a Mario Kart game.

    Hotel team was great, they went out of their way to help out with taxi bookings, recommendations, etc. The Hotel Manager Mr. Shubham Dixit and his associates Mr. Raj and Mr. Manish were extremely helpful.
