Perfectly situated to visit Monet's garden and see Giverny. Beautiful garden cottage

Pillows a little lumpy and bedding could do with updating, but this was a minor issue and did not spoil a lovely stay.

Layout, decor, garden area and convenient location for Monet's garden. The whole 'shabby chic' ambience is charming and typically rural France. Coffee machine and light breakfast food was a nice touch.

As the house is historical, the floors were a little bit cold. Saying this just to recommend to take some slippers/pair of warmer socks with you, apart from that all was great, there was a heater so the room itself could be heated as warm as you like.

Everything was spot on! The hostess met us and showed around the property, told a bit about the town and where to find all the main spots (House of Claude Monet, Museum of Impressionism, restaurants, local boutiques) which were all nearby and accessible by a quick walk. In the kitchen there was a fresh loaf of bread, jam, butter and some other tasty things left for the breakfast, coffee machine, tea etc. It was lovely to sit in the backyard and enjoy the sun. The atmosphere was wonderful. This was my third time in Giverny but the first time I stayed overnight and I would definitely return to stay at this house! Thank you a lot! It was magical!

We had difficulty figuring out the coffee maker so, had tea instead. We had a lot of difficulty getting into and out of the parking space available to us.

The room and kitchen were beautiful! Very comfortable bed and light breakfast ingredients available.

Charming quiet

Being an old building it was a little bit cool in the evening and we had to plug out lamps in order to charge phones because there was a shortage of sockets. But it really was a beautiful gite and would not let any of that get in the way of staying there.

The location was excellent and it was absolutely charming - exactly what you would want in a beautiful village like Giverny.

Parking was provide in the front garden but the space was small and tricky to manoeuvre into.

Tastefully decorated with carefully chosen furniture and colours. Kindly left bread a, cheese and enough for breakfast. Close to Monet s garden. Quiet village at night, lovely to walk around when the crowds have left.

Perfect place to end our trip. Delightful French rustic charm. With this lovely spot only 90 mins to CDG airport is a great place to start or end your trip. Christine was very welcoming and gave us all the information and guidance we needed. The location is fantastic for Monet’s garden. The gateway is narrow but no big deal. (never take a car rental upgrade in Europe)

Having to leave it to come home!!!!

The location was superb. It was very comfortable and quiet and the owners were so friendly and had thought of many little extras in terms of milk, bread etc to make things easy and enjoyable upon arrival.

A charming and unusual property in Giverny centre only a few hundred yards from Monets garden. Quirky french , shabby chic interior with lovely comfy bad. Breakfast all laid out ready, we just had to wander down to the bakery for the fresh stuff, baguette, croissants etc. Perfect. Christine, our host, was lovely given that it was almost midnight when we finally arrived from Dieppe.

It is tight to get the car in through the gate, so you need to angle your car carefully. We got out easily by taking a number of careful steps. All worth it though!

A delightful gite, in exactly the right place. Very tranquil, with a garden to sit in. Easy to visit Monet's Gardens and house, and also within easy reach of restaurants. Christine has her studio there and her work is stunning.

Nothing we didn't love

Christine was the perfect host and we absolutely loved everything about her apartment. The kitchen was lovely for eating in and so nice to have it on different level to bedroom area. The decor was just beautiful and the touches of delicious bread and jams, Normandy butter and a great selection of teas were wonderful. Hope we can return!!

Wifi connection/reception not great.

Very cosy and beautifully styled. Fully set up kitchen. Our host provided milk, bread and marmalades as we arrived late. Comfortable bed and seating areas in both bedroom/living and kitchen area. Warm and friendly host. Highly recommend this property. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
