I got locked out of the hotel at night. They ask you to leave the key at the front desk when you leave the hotel. The front desk is supposed to be open 24/7. I came back around 1:45 am, and there was nobody at the reception desk to let me in. I knocked, called their phone and could hear the phone ringing through the entrance glass door, but the front desk person was nowhere to be seen. Luckily, he came back in about 20 mins, but it was quite scary to stay outside not knowing if they were coming back. I already started looking for alternative hotel options in the area, but this would have been less than ideal considering that all my things were in my room and I had to go to the airport at 8 am.

The location was perfect if you are looking to go to l'orangerie, Louvre and d'orsay.

Small hotel, but you will find there everything what you need and in many cases not available at big famous chains. They treat guests like they really take care. Rooms are very clean and with all the smallest details you need. Location is in the middle of the center to everything.

Breakfast came with extra cost but worth it. Rooms lovely. Location amazing - thats why we booked it. Friendliest staff i had in France so far. I would recommend and come back.

It was a little cramped and dated. Long wait sometimes for hot water.

With the exception of an officious twit working early one Sunday morning, every one of the 5 or 6 other people I dealt with was kind and extremely helpful.

The hotel is in a terrific location for the Metro (Tuileries and Concord) and for walking to many of the main sights in Paris. There is great shopping close by and a wide range of cafes and restaurants. It is almost next door to the wildly popular Ferdi. Our room was a very spacious (for Paris) 18m, there was good storage, the bathroom was very functional and the decor had Parisian charm. The bed was comfortable, and we were delighted to have bathrobes - quite a rarity these days. The hotel staff lent us a kettle and cups, so that with the fridge we had everything we needed to enjoy an early morning cup of tea. The windows opened and it was quiet enough to leave them open for fresh air at nighttime. The housekeeping staff do an excellent job and the reception staff were friendly and acknowledged us every time we came and went from the hotel. We would be delighted to come back to this hotel to stay again.
