The noise from the street below really bothered me. It wasn't until the next morning that I realised that two of the three windows were open. Also, thought breakfast was too expensive. I just needed a coffee and a croissant.

My son married his fiance at a nearby town. I needed a day's rest before travelling on. My room was very comfortable.

Best Western's policy for the 'Rewards' programme is that you have to book direct. In my opinion, the majority of guests use a 3rd party provider (Booking, Trivago, Expedia, etc). I have booked 4 Best Western hotels over the last 3 months using one of these and I was not eligible for their rewards. This just makes people want to book elsewhere.

Well located 5 minutes from the main train station and a block away from the tram system. The main centre of the medieval town is an easy walk away also. The room was comfortable and had coffee/tea making facilities.

Everything is great

The hotel is very near to Strasbourg station so an easy direct walk. The staff speak good English and are exceptionally nice. The room was clean and spacious.

The street cleaning at 5am was a distraction but it’s got to be done.

Our room was excellent for the price, breakfast was very good, but the location was fabulous. A 15 minute walk took you into the centre of the city. Restaurant rue Kuhn is well worth a try, plenty of locals use it and I’m not surprised! The secure underground car park is well worth the money for the peace of mind….steep ramp but the hotel did advise of this.

Only suggestion I can do is to change the hairdryer

The room was big enough for the four of us, beds were super comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful. They even had a little gift for my kids!

Breakfast could benefit from fruit of higher quality. Executive room a bit small, would have been a standard/superior room in other locations. Was asked to hand over car key for security purposes but with no real explanation of why this was actually needed.

Great service, very convenient location, hotel and room standard and services generally very good, easy to drop off lugguage for check in and then park the car nearby, breakfast well organised, overall good quality and all items labelled. Would definitely recommend

Our stay at this Best Western was just lovely. Our room was compact but space enough for a small couch and desk. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a huge tub and rain shower. We enjoyed their buffet breakfast with its selection of meat, cheeses, breads, eggs and fruit. We loved the location, only 6 minutes to the train station and an easy walk to Petite France and Old Town. What made our stay even more special, was the kind and helpful reception staff. They really made us feel welcome.

The ladies that worked at reception were EXCEPTIONALLY good! The room was a nice size and VERY WELL equipped!

Not the hotel's fault, but a lot of road works on the approach, meant it wasn't as straightforward to get to as it should have been

Reception were very helpful on arrival, and even parked the car for me in the garage. Recommendations for paces to eat were very good, and a good breakfast

the air conditioning was not working yet. part of their policy is to turn on the aircons for the whole building when the outside reaches a certain temperature which seems ok however we had booked this hotel for the aircon and when arrived it was around 25 degrees. we didn't want to sleep with the window open, due to the noise form the street, which in hindsight was not that bad. no aircon but they did look for a fan which turned out to be broken. they did make an effort which was much appreciated but I would say, don't offer rooms with aircon when you know they are not switched on for the season.

the staff are wonderful and very helpful. fastest check in I think we ever had. beds are very comfortable and everything is clean. the location is great and breakfast was wonderful.

Check in at 1 am - the night manager Louis was very helpful and friendly. We were not expecting to have to stay overnight in Strasbourg but due to the awful delay with the train, we had to make a reservation on bookings.com from the train

Check in was delayed by 40 minutes. No bathroom soap. Very slow drain in the shower, and in general an annoying "modern" shower with buttons.
