The hosts were wonderful, and were extremely responsive in coordinating with our travel plans and our arrival time in Giverny. The property is in a perfect location for exploring the charming village of Giverny, and it is a few minutes walk to Monet’s gardens. The apartment was clean, and stocked with fresh fruit, bread, beverages and other staples of a proper French continental breakfast. We felt welcomed, and well-taken care of, and really enjoyed our time here.

Orpheus Lodge is a delightful apartment, or small house, located in the heart of the picturesque village of Giverny. The house is clean, cozy, and offers a wonderful view. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making our entire stay perfect. We definitely hope to return one day.

It was a delight from the moment we arrived. Am so pleased we stayed here and can’t wait to stay again. The hosts were wonderful and we even had homemade jam made by them and fruit from their garden. Charming hosts. They thought of everything and exceeded expectation. Luxury bathroom / stand alone shower. Big bed and in the middle of Giverny. Wow. A truly special place.

This is one of most beautiful property I stayed, and within walking distance to Monet's garden. The host Afaf greeted me with warm and beautiful smile, she was so nice and friendly. She toured the whole apartment, beautifully decorated. There is a property with a whole living room, and fully equipped with kitchen etc.., and a bed room upstairs with a bathtub, a separated shower bathroom. A laundry area downstairs and they even have home made jam in the refrigerator. The property is very spacious and its great for a couple. Will definitely come back to stay here again !!

Afaf and her family are wonderful hosts and their apartment was clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. It is situated on the main walking path in Giverny, convenient to everything on Rue de Claude Monet. A delicious bakery is less than a minute's walk and several restaurants and art galleries line the main promenade. The WiFi worked well and fast for business emails that I needed to send. The bed was perfectly firm but with a soft top. The large clawfoot tub was a dream! I will be back again with my family!

What can I say! Fantastic welcome, top quality apartment, amazing location 7 minute walk from Monet's Garden (and Giverny was beautifully quiet once the coaches left), wonderful provisions provided for breakfast etc (the jams were particularly lovely), super luxury bedroom and bathroom. Sitting on the balcony in the sun overlooking the garden was truly a slice of heaven. Parking was excellent (in front of house behind locked gate). Worth every penny. Made our touring holiday!

Great location in the middle of Giverny, just a short walk to Monet's garden. The property is amazing with a very high standard of fittings and equipment, I wish we could have stayed longer to fully appreciate it The hosts went above and beyond, coming out to pick us up when our car broke down on the way there, making sure we had enough to eat following our late arrival, and then arranging a taxi to take us to the railway station the next day

Afaf and Alain were exceptional hosts, very friendly and helpful during our quick overnight stay - gave us bread, hand-picked strawberries from their garden, and water & juice in the fridge. The home is so beautifully kept, the terrace is perfect for a little snooze and they let us wamder theit garden. We were about a 10 min walk to Claude Monet's house, so easy to walk around the town. We would absolutely come back to visit Giverny and the rest of the Normandy region again. Also, their dog prada is so cute!
