Everything was great

This was a perfect place from start to finish. The location is wonderful,.the beach is in front of the accommodation, the castle is to the left and a walk into Criccieth reveals a multitude of pubs, restaurants, and shops. More importantly, are Mark and Louise who run this place. You couldn't find two more lovely, helpful and informative people. We were welcomed into an extremely clean and comfortable b&b, with everything we needed. There are books to borrow, a bar if you want a drink, and the food was just spot-on. I cannot recommend this place enough. All the guests were so relaxed and friendly, because of Mark and Louise. It is a perfect, happy place to explore the north of Wales.

We were made to feel very welcome. The location was perfect right on the sea front. The facilities were very good with a comfortable lounge and a mini bar. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent. Good choices and freshly cooked.

This is the type of B&B we hope to find when touring Britain. Friendly, comfortable, situated in a nice and interesting town and environment. The breakfast well prepared and tasty. The sea outside the front door! Hospitality on top! Best bed this tour! Best Wifi this tour!

Mark and Louise went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The room was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated with personal touches giving it a lovely homely feel. A large comfy, cosy bed and settee looked out onto the beach and coastline. An ensuite with a shower was also very clean light and airy. The breakfast was fabulous served to perfection so no complaints there.This is a 1st class B and B ran with excellence by the hosts, and we would highly recommend it to anyone to stay at if you thinking of visiting Criccieth

The hot water pressure is not really high and you rely on an electric shower, which limits a lot the space you have in the bath tube.

Very friendly staff and amazing breakfast. I have dietary requirements and they sorted that out amazingly well. The room is very comfortable (we picked the king-size bedroom in the first floor) with amazing views to the bay in front. It is a quiet area and you can relax yourself sitting in a comfortable sofa while staring at the sea and listening to the waves arriving to the beach a few meters away. There's good connection to the main roads that lead you to the northern and central parts of Wales, as well as to the heart of Snowdonia. You will find several restaurants in a walking distance, but it is recommended to book beforehand since they get quite crowded, even off-season.

I can't fault the place! For a simple, comfortable and very welcoming stay it doesn't get any better.

The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was excellent no matter what you chose and the room was comfortable and clean. Also having a bar open in the evening was a lovely bonus after a hard day climbing Mt Snowdon.

Mark and Louise were wonderful, kind, caring hosts. Very welcoming and helpful when asked about the area so we could find things to do. Breakfast was homemade by them, to order, brilliant quality of food and cooked with love. Friendly vibes, not noisy. Only a quite road between the front door and the beach. Free parking right outside. Incredibly convenient. Lovely town and people too, and lovely beaches. Criccieth Castle was good value for money too. I would def go back and I'd be using Awel Mor for my stay!

5 stars for the room, breakfast, and comfort. Our room looked over the beach across the road. Went to sleep to the sound of the waves lapping the shore. But there was something that set this 3 storey house above the rest. Inside, on every wall, shelf, windowsill, even our tea tray, was something to smile at, we loved the puffin in wellingtons! It gave a feel good factor and we left feeling happy and relaxed.
