Friendly and Helpful staff, basic rooms but clean and very good value. Common room and kitchen facilities were also very good and well maintained. Would definitely book again

We loved our stay here. It was in a fantastic location for lots of different days out. (National Slate museum, Barmouth, Harlech Castle and beach, Snowden, Llanberis railway to name a few). The staff were really friendly and helpful when giving info on local areas and places to visit. My children (9&6) loved spending time in the lounge in their free time. They made friends with other children and enjoyed the facilities there. They also loved going to feed the alpacas and sheep each day. Everyone we met there was really friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. This was our first hostel stay, and we will definitely do another one.

I like how friendly the owners are and that it’s so accessible. I also like the farm animals that are around the site. My son loves the pool table and the old SEGA computer games!

Very friendly staff, well organised booking. Easy to communicate. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Facilities all there, and well cared for. Honesty box in kitchen to help with any items or snacks, if needed, for example tea, coffee, milk, chocolate. Comfortable social area with large dining tables and sofas. All in all great value for money

This was my third time visit, as usual I was not disappointed. Exceptional value for money, friendly, clean and well cared for lodging. Nothing negative to critique. Likely to come again.

Beds are a little short for very tall (6ft 4) guests.

Super friendly. Great facilities. Brilliant for kids - loved the alpacas and chickens. Amazingly clean. Good location for Rhyd Du and Snowdon Ranger paths to summit. We will be back!

It was exceptionally clean, the staff were very friendly and informative. The other guests were a pleasure to speak to. The facilities were above and beyond my expectation for a hostel. The bed was very comfortable and after a day exploring the area, it was a perfect base to come back to. Co-op within walking distance.

A very nice stay at Basecamp Wales I have been there several times before and I really enjoyed my visit My room which was quite spacious had a nice view of the surrounding countryside The communal kitchen has quite a lot of cooking facilities and utensils so it's easy to prepare ones own food and it's next to a lounge where can sit and relax or watch TV The staff are friendly and knowledgeable The free WIFI worked very well and the car parking is just outside of the property Very good value for money
