Bedroom smells bad and the facilities were not clean. The locker weren’t enough big. There were many guys younger than 18 years old running out of the room.

Was close to the train station and some touristic places. The kitchen had many useful things and they offered a small breakfast.

I really would have liked lockers within the room, just so you could have some peace of mind with your luggage and anything expensive you may be travelling with. There were lockers, but they weren't in the room which was unfortunate.

The room was great, and the beds are comfortable for the price. It is great that the beds are private with curtains to pull across too, so you aren't disturbed by light from other people, noise or other distractions when you are trying to sleep, which I was particularly pleased about. The mattress was quite worn, and dipped in the middle, but other than that I couldn't complain. I would have liked to have had lockers within the room, but that wasn't possible, meaning our things/ luggage were just just left out, which was not great if you have laptops etc. although the room is very secure.

I was happy, but some people may be worried about:- 1) Location is down side streets , though I felt fairly safe with lots of folk walking around late Saturday night. 2) Most guests appeared to be singles staying longer term, but managers have strict rules so that everything is in order.

Close to a wedding reception in The Old Library. Complimentary toast, tea/coffee breakfast - as a hostel, guests do their own washing up. Cctv covers 2 parking spaces and the entrance. 24hr car park £3.80 per day until midnight within about 200 yards and free road parking from 6pm Saturday and all day Sundays. Clean rooms and clean shared bathrooms close-by. I think only one room has an en-suite.

Although the cleaning was done to an exceptionally high standard, sometimes you would not be able to enter the kitchen for 3 hours to cook your own your food (between 11am-2pm). I understand that the kitchen facilities require cleaning on a daily basis, however 3 hours did seem a little excessive. Thanks.

Staff were very friendly, and the hostel was exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable, and it was great to have your own 'private' space behind the curtain. Having a plug charger in your own bunk bed is a great little extra, as well as complimentary tea, coffee, toast, condiments and fruit in the morning.

Guy at Reception was snippy at times .one of the guy staff behaviour was condescending who also slept in the dorm(which i found odd)...Hot water got used up by 10 so was mostly luke warm if u shower around that tims...The door handles creeked really loudly for dorm room 4 Sometimes the room got stuffy when it wasnt very cold

They need to separate people that snore because constantly kept awake. So not good . Plus other guests need to be told not having phone calls at stupid times and talking loud when you are sleeping in room .

Great location 5 minutes walk from the coach station and 10 minutes walk to The Bullring Shopping Mall. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and booked me in straight away and showed me to my dormitory bed, showers, toilets and kitchen. My bed was warm and comfortable with a privacy curtain, locker and electric socket. Breakfast included apples, oranges, bananas, bread/toast with jams, marmalades, peanut butter, Nutella and tea/ coffee. It had a nice lounge area for chilling out with free tea and coffee anytime of day. Kitchen for cooking yourself with a microwave and refrigerator for storing food. Would definitely stay here again and thoroughly enjoyed my 6 nights here.

The location although convenient to city centre was in a down at heel neighbourhood and felt a bit risky although I experienced no issues. Suggest women alone might want to arrive by taxi at night

The communal areas were clean and friendly and the bathrooms a good standard great shower. Good price with breakfast.
