The dog friendly room is beautiful, very quiet and not much disturbance - the dog slept the whole night through. The room is very spacious with all the facilities you need and a very comfy large bed. We also got a little doggy welcome box which was super sweet ! Probs one of the best dog friendly stays we have had!

Good size rooms and the fitting and decorating throughout were exceptional. The common area were so well furnished. Breakfast was great so much choice. Pancake machine, fresh boiled eggs, pastries, cereals, fruits, smoked salmon, everything you want. Beautiful building and surrounds.

I disliked a little the fact that we were accommodated in the smallest room, far away in the attic, even though the place didn't seem to be fully booked. And service at the bar wasn't as good as expected.

I've fallen in love with the elegant manor decorated with candles, the beautiful grounds and rich breakfast.

Lack of a restaurant although I understand this will be operational soon.

Location was superb. Considering it was almost full it was really quiet. We would have loved to have explored the hotel more fully but unfortunately got delayed in traffic and arrived later than anticipated.

The sinks and bathroom have no surface for anything like makeup and toothbrushes. Very small sink.

This was an 19th century manor house, complete with grounds. Very peaceful and out of the way. They were only serving breakfast but we were directed to a nice pub minutes away. Lots of sites within 30 minutes or less. The surrounding scenery was idyllic and the room was comfortable.

The bathroom lack of hot water, over a three night stay in our 'studio' cabin 301 was not corrected and remained tepid. Breakfast was a few minutes in open weather whilst we were fortunate to have no rain it can get cold early in the day.

Location, location, location: Conwy valley is a beautiful location the hotel is close to the river but not too close. The property is magnificent though we stayed in the annexe 'grandly named' Studio or Suite, actually a terrace of cabins 301, 302 and 303. Nonetheless poor for that, I at least didn't have to climb stairs to our room though the annexe was a few minutes walk from reception and if raining would not be good. The rating given would have been 10 if the bathroom hot water actually delivered hot water apart from that all good. I did inform the reception regarding lack of hot water for the bath which I was looking forward to, the shower was adequately hot the bath you wouldn't want to sit in. Comfy bed large wardrobe and nice bathroom fittings. The continental breakfast was epic the selection of fruits, cold meats, cheese and cereals could not be faulted also equipment to boil eggs and make waffles. Soon the kitchen will be up and running with hot meal choices.

Only hint I would have liked a reading light or a small lamp to read in bed to avoid having to get out of bed to switch the bright main light off.

Location was beautiful, building was interesting and tasteful. Room (single) small but fully formed. Highlight gorgeous breakfast.

What an amazing room/hotel to stay in for our weekend hiking Snowdon. Perfect location, ten minutes drive from Conwy Town and close to other towns like Colwyn Bay and LLandudno for the Great Orme. It was around 35 minutes to Llanberis town, where we were starting our Snowdon hike. The room was large and comfortable, with incredible ground views. We were very happy with our stay!
