Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable rooms. We stayed at the Regency suite. Maria at front desk was incredibly helpful. We had room service dinner and it was delicious, so was the breakfast.

United KingdomNothing we didn’t really like. Would have been nice if the garden had a little more in it but that’s just nit picking.
We loved our room, pebble shower was a nice touch. The bed was super comfy and loved the hidden wardrobe at the back. Maria was a fantastic host, prawn curry stunning and breakfast equally as nice.

United KingdomIf I had to complain.... Parking is outside the Hotel on the road which was the main dissapointment as unexpected, wasn't keen on the sausages and absense of Bacon at breakfast although it was all cooked very well.
Great staff, very accomodating and helpful, great clean room with planty of space, good breakfast,

United KingdomThis is honestly nit picking as I wouldn't say there was anything I didn't like. But if I had to say something, the lack of parking could be considered an inconvenience for some. I got lucky and managed to get a space behind the hotel but during busier seasons it could be difficult to park nearby.
The hotel had beautiful decor and the staff were absolutely fantastic. So friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was also honestly some of the best breakfasts I've ever had.

United KingdomAlthough I very much enjoyed my stay, I do feel that the hotel is slightly overpriced.
The Breakfast was very good and rather different from other hotels, yummy domolette and shakshuka! Maria was very welcoming and so friendly and helpful. One feels at home when arriving at Domo boutique hotel, just like you are visiting Family, you are made at ease and comfortable. The rooms are all different and beautifully decorated. The shower was amazing and very powerful. It is the place to go to if you are ever staying in Oldbury.

United KingdomWonderful boutique hotel. Amazing room, very comfy bed. Bathroom is quite small, and there were no slippers - bathroom floor was very cold. Other than that, a very lovely hotel. I have to make a special mention: the wonderful Marie! Amazing front desk support, who contacted me prior to arrival, answered all of my questions and queries, and regularly made sure that I was made to feel comfortable! She also made an amazing breakfast - my shakshuka was the best! Cappuccino was amazing, and we even received complementary pastries. Marie is truly the jewel of this hotel!

United KingdomUnderstand why they don't serve pork products but it affects the quality of the breakfast. Surrounding area a bit rough and rundown but the hotel itself is lovely.
Friendly service, lovely room, free onsite parking easy check-in and room access via keypad. Easy checkout

United KingdomI found the door to the hotel closed at 3pm and had to ring the doorbell a couple of times to gain entry. This was after driving around for 10/15 mins looking for parking. I suggest the hotel provides directions for the alternative parking spaces at the rear of the hotel and be a little more clearer that parking is on street and limited.
The hotel was modern and super clean. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. I loved the decor and layout of the room which made my stay really enjoyable. My stay was so enjoyable that I chose to stay in, ordered room service instead of going out for food as I normally do on these kind of trips

United KingdomNothing
Gorgeous suites all individually decorated to a very high standard. The welcome from Maria was charming and heartfelt- wonderfully hospitable. This little Oasis is a real find for those who don't want to stay in the corporate hell of the NEC. There is a train that goes there direct. Excellent breakfast with great choice. Not just English – they serve shakshouka and avocado with eggs on toast etc. The food generally was very good. I recommend the curries and Asian starters .Not much that I could see in a local town so I would suggest eating there.

United KingdomNothing, we had a great stay.
Fantastic location, we stayed after visiting the Black Country Living Museum and visited the Bullring the following day. Only 5 mins walk to train station and 10 min drive to the Museum. Hotel was lovely, very comfy bed and great breakfast the next morning. Host was amazing, went above and beyond and even left me some restoring tea bags in the room to help my sore throat and cough. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

United KingdomThe only thing for me was the smell of food. However that's me, my husband didn't have anything he didn't like.
A little gem in an area you probably wouldn't expect it to be. Beautiful marble entrance and the decor was lovely. Room modern and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Maria was warm and welcoming. Chatty and friendly..lovely reception after our journey. Showed us how things worked in the room and offered an upgrade. Our room was perfect so we didn't feel the need to upgrade. However the room offered was fantastic!!!!
