I missed the car park because I was on top of it before I saw the sign. This could be better.

Car park is at the back of the hotel. It is conveniently situated for the centre of Wolverhampton. the staff are friendly and very helpful.

The first room we were allocated smelt quite musty/damp, and the window wouldn’t stay open to allow us to air it out.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and offered to move us to a different room when we mentioned that the first room we had been allocated had an unpleasant smell. The room we were moved to was much nicer. The breakfast was also really nice.

    - As with all hotel showers, practically requires a degree in theoretical physics to figure out and it’s a very small shower - No plug/USB/power sockets near the bed - makes charging your phone and using it at the same time tricky. Not a problem for me as I had a laptop with long charger but something to bear in mind

    - Room is clean and comfortable - Good value for money - Staff are friendly and helpful - Hotel has character and charm - e.g the rooms are still locked with manual keys, wooden beams supporting the ceiling, layout emphasises that it’s a converted property - Managed to get more than 3 hours of sleep, which was considerably more then the last time I stayed in a Wolverhampton hotel

Only minor points: we would have preferred a walk in shower as we found the bath a bit difficult to clamber in and out of. The stairs were a bit tricky as there were odd steps where we didn't expect them - no doubt a feature, but these could do with a warning sign. We didn't have breakfast - we did have it on a previous stay, and it was very nice, but the price was a bit steep - so we got our breakfast at the nearby Chapel Ash Grill. But we would definitely book an overnight stay here again.

The hotel is my former school! It is well located being close to town but in a quieter district. This was our second stay here. We had a very warm welcome at reception and our room in the annexe was clean and very comfortable. The bed was amazingly comfortable! I had my best night's sleep in a long time. This hotel is always our first choice when we visit Wolverhampton.

Not really the hotel’s fault but when guests were arriving back late at night it could get a bit noisy for a little while with the sound of people walking outside the room and doors shutting but it didn’t last too long

We liked the quaint feel of the hotel, it felt quite homely and unique, the staff were lovely, the room was comfortable.
