There's no swimming pool or spa but for the budget, it's a great place to stay for work trips.

I love this hotel - they have the best staff: happy, helpful and appropriately attentive. They also make the best breakfasts. I work in Leeds sporadically and always book the Holiday Inn Express for my stays. To date, it has never disappointed me. They also have the most comfortable beds and quiet rooms.

I found the duvet a bit too warm but I was cold if I took it off.

I used this hotel as a base and it served the purpose very well. The most outstanding thing about this hotel is the incredible friendliness and helpfulness from the reception staff.

By arriving early to find parking we had to pay for 2 days on the car park. Unfortunately Leeds United FC were playing a big game too so it was busy to get taxis to and from our venue. Something we hadn't accounted for.

Breakfast, as usual, was very good. we have stayed at several of this brand over the Years and generally search them out when we are travelling. The parking is on a first come basis but as we arrived mid afternoon it was OK.

The TV in the room didn't work on all channels because the aerial was not the best. The shower was not the most powerful but did the job. I did not say anything to reception about these things because they did not have a massive effect on our stay and what we were there for.

All The staff were absolutely brilliant. I was checked in by Christopher and he couldn't have been more professional and polite than he was. Very informative and also conversed and took interest about where we had travelled from. I was even notified about becoming a member for special rates at IHG hotels and many more which was free to sign up to. Comfy bed, breakfast spot on. Said you only get 4 items of hot breakfast on website, we actually got 5 and continental side too. 15 - 20 minute walk into town, one straight road, good location for the money and the convenience. Would recommend staying here as I will be again in the future.

Location was a bit out of the way, had to use uber and taxis to get to city centre otherwise is a 25min walk.

Value for money was amazing! Breakfast was great too. Staff lovely and helpful. Was a good stay.

We had problems with the window not closing in the first room, however the staff moved us but it took a while to find us a room. The hotel is on the busy road, so if on the front you'd likely need to keep your window closed, i can imagine it gets quite stuffy on a hot day. The breakfast wasn't up to scratch, the hot food was pretty awful, shivelled sausages and salty hard bacon, but there was cereal, fruit and pastries. The rooms were generally what you'd expect, but with loose fittings and everything was a bit 'tired'. The lighting only had one switch on one side of the bed. The air-condition, was awful, was old, dusty and very noisy, and didnt really do much. You have to pay for parking, be aware, if you have a car. Overall ok, but just needs some care.

The hotel was an ok price, it is after all a budget hotel. We were attending a gig at the Brudenell and it was close. Taxis were quick and helpful. Not far from the station and city. The room itself was spacious, fairly clean and adequate for one night. It had a fold out sofabed. It had a bit of hanging space and was quiet as we were over the carpark. No noise from other guests. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shower was ok, plenty of hot water and Dove products. Breakfast, despite being basic, had good selection, just the hot stuff wasn't up to standard.

Slightly noisy, you cannot shut the door quietly and neither could anyone else along the corridor.

Paying for parking in a large parking lot in Leeds is unacceptable. It's Leeds.

Staff were very welcoming, room was comfortable, bathroom was HUGE with walk-in shower, and breakfast was ample and tasty.
