How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Nothing - everything was perfect.
Extremely attractive and comfortable accommodation - beautifully furnished, spacious double-aspect room with well laid-out shower room - and one of few places we’ve stayed at with two easy chairs in the bedroom! Lovely garden with fascinating bird life to watch while enjoying delicious breakfast.

Being very picky, we found the shower a little small, but was in good order
Pauline and Malcolm were lovely hosts, and made you welcome. Any information you wanted, they provided, and nothing was too much trouble. The building was very nicely decorated and grounds maintained we'll.

Pauline and Mal were lovely, very welcoming (and the dogs) . The room is very spacious and clean, 3 windows with fabulous views. The breakfast was brilliant, we had full English for 3 days and it was filling and delicious and well cooked. Breakfast in the conservatory watching pheasants and a woodpecker while eating and chatting. Pauline and Mal very willing to assist with anything to make your stay enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and stay again if in the area.

Beautiful place to stay if you are discovering the delights of Anglesey. The views from the bedroom were amazing and the room was exceptionally clean and comfy. Breakfast was great and the hosts very friendly. Have booked again as definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed on the island.

Location. It was a little further out in the countryside than expected.
Excellent breakfast, homemade jams and marmalades. Property was very clean and didn't have a doggy smell even though they had dogs and welcomed guests with dogs. Owners very friendly and welcoming.

There was not one single thing that wasn't perfection.!
I thought it was exceptional ..a real gem of a find. The location, the ambience, the decor , immaculate inside and out , breakfast delishious and plentiful. The hosts were delightful....so friendly ..extremely easy to talk to and very helpful. I would say this B& B is at the top level of any B&B I have ever been to....exceeded all expectations .

Can't fault anything
Lovely hosts, wonderful full English breakfast as well as buffet breakfast. This is a b&b in a Beautifully decorated countryside home . It was very clean , and with high-quality comfort furnishings. Very large on suite room with smart tv, kettle and tea / coffee making facility in the room. Super comfortable bed. On arrival, we were given everything we needed, and also for our 2 dogs. We felt very much at ease and thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay. We hope to be back .

Nothing the only thing I could say is it’s not the easiest to find but that’s literally it.
We have been before and loved it so booked it for my parents and our dog for Christmas and they are staying there at the moment and love it too.

Loved the location and the property was beautiful We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day stay at frongaer bed and breakfast, we was greeted by malcom who was inviting and friendly towards us. Pauline was lovely too, they both had a lovely manner. Our room was spacious, airy and spotless. Everything we needed was there, right down to bathrobes and slippers. Our cooked breakfast was delicious aswell as the homemade rasberry jam 😋 kept us fuled throughout the day.we would highly recommend this lovely peaceful b&b to stay. Added bonus was their 2 beautiful pooches. Batteries fully recharged.
