Honestly no criticism it was unbelievable. I just booked it because I wanted an open fireplace but I was disappointed when we couldn’t have it as advertised.

There is nothing to dislike except coming home after staying in such a lovely place.

As always we were greeted and looked after with all the care and attention you could hope for on a trip. The breakfasts are amazing, and the cottage is lovely. A perfect getaway for any couple wanting to get away from a city, but with towns like Porthmadog and Barmouth close enough within a half hour drive, should they be needed.

The location was perfect. The hosts were exceptional and could not have been more accommodation, we only had a couple of days but they made it very special.

Very welcoming, beautiful cottage with a splendid garden and lovely views. Very easy to access, off road parking. Cottage was very warm and cosy, plenty of snacks, coffee, tea available to us throughout. Breakfast was superb, couldn’t have asked for more at breakfast. All served to you fresh that morning, plenty of tea, coffee, orange juice, fresh fruit and cereal as well as hot breakfast. I really cannot find one thing to complain about. Very good links to Beddgelert, Harlech, Criccieth and all 7 routes to the summit of Yr Wyddfa.

The breakfast was amazing with a large variety of food, service exceptional given by Iddon and Joy at the Garth Engan who made us feel at home with their friendly helpful manner, through out our stay. we would recommend a stay here to to family and friends and will return in the future.

An excellent, beautiful cottage, with a good location, Iddon and Joy are fantastic hosts, their attention to detail is 5 star, great breakfast, it's lovely to have your own entrance and separate living room, great for relaxing in the evening, we also very much enjoyed sitting out on the private terrace with a cup of tea.

Had a perfect stay nothing to dislike

The property was stunning with a beautiful private garden for us to sit in for the evenings. Our room was very comfortable and opened onto a patio area . The breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day . Our hosts were so welcoming and friendily. Everything about the accommodation was so clean and very well maintained .The surrounding area was idyllic, quiet and a pleasure to explore . Everything! We were welcomed with open arms, the room was comfortable and clean, an extra living/breakfast room and the choices for breakfast were obundant and delicious! It's a bit outside the beaten path, but that makes it that more peaceful and beautiful to stay in (with your own piece of the garden as well 🤩 ). Would recommend to everybody.

Beautiful idyllic quiet spot just outside of town. Lovely hosts, comfy bed and hot shower. Breakfast was all homemade and delicious. Cant say enough about this place. 🙂🙂
