We booked a room with a city view and we didn’t get a room with a city view. We were also the floor above the pub so were affected by the noise, although it stopped around 10:30/11.

The property is in a great location and the room is well sized.

We lost water on the second day of our stay but the team addressed it quickly and it was resolved by the end of the day.

We were on the top floor which is several sets of stairs, and think this should be clearly stated at point of booking, thankfully neither of us had a disability or health concern. Albeit was out of breath by the time we got to the room!!

Difficult to see tv from bed and sofa , went to have a bath but could feel the tide mark from previous guest , so had a shower instead , build up of limescale in coffee machine , kettle and toilet .

I think that being 73 with health problems and being on the top floor was unsuitable. I think were possible older people should be housed on a lower floor as the amount of stairs I had to climb resulted in me not going back to my room, until I needed to settle down for the night.

Room felt like wasn’t cleaned well. A lot of dust everywhere. Had Nespresso machine but we couldn’t use it because it looked like something was growing in it (dust? ). Room didn’t look like a picture, but not bad overall. Just needed good cleaning and maybe fresh coat of paint.

What a lovely spot in an excellent location! Don’t be put off by the pub entrance - the rooms are clean and comfortable, seem to be recently redecorated too. The staff were all super welcoming and helpful. Check in was a breeze. While a super central location it was quiet enough to have a window open at night (though there is AC too). Will definitely stay again next time I’m in London

I cant find anything to complain about.

I loved my stay at Gunmakers. Room was wonderful, clean and surprisingly quiet. Bed extremely comfortable. Had the best sleep . Staff was helpful and friendly. Location very good, short walk from public transportation. Just around the corner is lovely little city park to relax in . Highly recommend Gunmakers.

No staff available. We were given a number in case we needed someone but the number wouldn’t connect and the lane line wasn’t answered either, so if we’d have been locked out etc we would have been very stuck. The shower stopped working too, which we later found out was a water pump problem, but when you e got no way of contacting anyone this is a bit frustrating. Bathroom wasn’t very clean, grout in the shower was dirty, and the shower itself had definitely seen better days Very suspicious stain on one of the cushions on the bed (not a pillow) but fairly disgusting all the same.

Amazing location, half way between Marylebone and Oxford st. Loads of near by places to eat and shops, but not noisy.

There is nothing negative to say as they had all bases covered. Yes there are stairs but the super friendly staff in the pub at check in did offer to help with bags (which was kind but in our case not needed) You can have dinner in the pub itself but not breakfast however you can get 10% off at a few local eateries instead

Whilst the room wasn’t huge, it was perfectly laid out and there were some really nice finishing touches. It was really easy to control the temperature and we didn’t notice much ambient noise at all. The bed was big and comfortable with good quality sheets/bedding which does make a huge difference. The shower is also big enough for two 😁

If you are infirm or elderly then the top bedrooms may be an issue as there is no lift keeps you fit.

Lovely hotel pub jt was very helpful even carried our luggage upstairs which was great gave all the information we needed. Compact room but well laid out.central to everything in London.

Very small. Floor in bedroom needs attention as it is a trip hazard. More breakfast tea would have been welcome and Nespresso branded coffee would have been appreciated.
