The only negative: please don’t charge £30 for wine I can buy in Sainsbury’s for less than £10.

Location, decor and food all first class. The staff could not have been more attentive or friendly.

    Nothing.

An amazing stay. Staff were all positive, helpful and very efficient. The room was immaculately clean and bathroom sparkling, evening meal fantastic. Short easy drive to the NEC. If you need to stay for the NEC but would rather stay in the countryside near by then this place is perfect.

Literally the only thing we could pick at was all the sugar packs was rock solid but that is the only thing we could fault and that's a tiny little thing

The staff really went out of there way to go the extra mile especially the cleaner she found out we where getting married came back after her shift had ended to clean the room and make a swan sculpture amazing customer service

The room we had was very small although the bed was still king size. My only disappointment was it was facing the road and at street level. The traffic starts fairly early in the morning so if you are a light sleeper take earplugs.

Lovely decor fresh and attractive. Good food in a great setting. Friendly staff. Very clean room. Comfy bed.

Situated just a stone's throw away from the charming village of Kowle, The Kings Arm offers a convenient location with excellent accessibility to both the M42 and Solihull. As you arrive, you'll be greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, setting the tone for a delightful stay. While the bedrooms are advertised as small, this doesn't pose a problem as they are cosy and comfortable. However, it's worth noting that the bathrooms are on the smaller side. One of the standout features of The Kings Arm is its impressive WIFI signal (for its location), ensuring that you can stay connected throughout your stay. When it comes to dining, the menu offers a great selection of evening meals to suit various tastes. The only slight drawback is that the desserts are slightly on the pricier side for this type of establishment. Nevertheless, they are undeniably delicious and provide a satisfying end to your meal. Overall, the positive experience at The Kings Arm makes it a place worth considering for future stays, with its convenient location, welcoming atmosphere, and comfortable accommodations.

The room was a little dark (lighting), and the restaurant ran out of 2 dishes I wanted, chicken for the burgers and no pizza basses. However, there was much to grumble about as there were other options, so no big deal, really. Breakfast was good, an extra sausage would have topped this, but now I'm really clutching at straws as it was nice anyhow.

Nice location on the canal, quiet, which allowed me to recover after a small procedure in Solihull, then worked remotely the next day. With a 12 noon checkout allowed me to do this, so happy days. The ambience was nice, nice restaurant, good food with tentative staff topped this for a pleasant experience. The bathroom and shower were great and clean with a powerful hot shower. Good working heater if you needed it.

Small room, but was described as such. Comfortable bed, good size. Facilities all good quality . Breakfast and dinner were excellent and reasonable price for quality.Situated by canal, with comfortable outdoor seating. Stayed here before in winter and returned as good experience. Staff young but very helpful and attentive.

The room was very small and the bathroom would possibly be difficult for larger people to use.

The staff were lovely and accomadating, the beer garden with it's many chairs and tables overlooking the canal was amazing. The room was clean, comy beds and pillows, hospitality tray.

No lounge to relax in the evening, so therefore we were sent to our bedroom when the bar closes. No food after 9:30pm. We were out all day at an event and when we got back in the evenings there was no food available and no where to relax as a group when we got back in the evening after a busy day. No buffet breakfast and rooms are tiny.
