Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe food overall not as good as l had hoped, despite it carrying Gino’s name. Also because they had a private function in the sky bar they had stopped the tapas menu and closed the kitchen at 9pm. We had planned to eat while watching the fireworks for the launch of the ‘Queen Ann’ Cunard Ship. The manager was very helpful and managed to secure us a pizza and a couple of sides, very grateful as we didn’t want to have to leave the hotel or miss the fireworks, but we had to push for this.
The views from the rooms outstanding and very quiet. Rooms spacious and very comfortable big beds and pillows. The sky bar is phenomenal and really gives the hotel the wow factor., great place for cocktails. Staff all lovely and very helpful.

The location was brilliant for exploring. Short walk to the dock area, the town hall, cavern area and a little bit further to the main shopping district. Far enough out of town to be quiet at night. Close enough to be near everything. Room was large. The bed was massive. It was really comfortable. We were quite high up and the view was great.

Beautiful hotel with really friendly staff. Lovely decor throughout and attention to detail with things you may need or had forgotten to pack throughout your stay. The sky bar was lovely and was a real highlight, great drinks as we watched the sunset. The room was lovely with great views and we really enjoyed our stay.

United KingdomWe didn't have breakfast, very expensive for the amount I would have had. The restaurant was OK but nothing special. We booked a table but they could not find our booking when we arrived, luckily they were not busy. The service was very slow.
The location was good, within walking distance of everything you needed. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms really nice and the sky bar was excellent.
