How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Music beat from Saturday night reveries. Entrance staff not quite as attentive. Didn't like sink blocking, especially as it had had minimal use (tooth brushing)
Excellent breakfast, great restaurant staff.

The ticket machine in the car park was faulty.
The hotel room was very clean, staff were very nice and friendly. The hotel room was also extremely spacious considering how central the location is.

The room was too hot and we were unable to turn the temperature down any further than 18c. When asking staff what we could do as we were too hot and located on the 13th floor, the staff member became quite agitated and told us to turn the fan off. I requested a portable fan, but he informed me these had all been handed out to other guests.
Everything was very nicely decorated/furnished and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast had a great selection.

The interior of the room and the bathroom. Very clean. The Tv is an actual smart TV with all the features such as netflix, YouTube etc.

The room was a bit too warm for me but that goes for any modern hotel..(.there were fans available.) This didn't distract me from my stay here.
A smart, modern hotel conveniently situated on Broad Street. Spacious reception, friendly, helpful staff. Lovely room, comfy bed. A choice of glasses (wine, tumblers, flutes), an expresso machine plus kettle with teas & and coffee, etc. The Best feature.. you can stream your phone to the tv to get your Netflix, etc, which was great. (Best tv I've seen in any hotel). Would 100% recommend staying here. This is my second visit.

We booked a room for 3 adults, but there was only 2 of everything in the room - cups, towels etc. Room service didn't answer the phone, so we asked at Reception, but still nobody came to bring us extra cups etc that evening. Next morning, we asked again and finally after asking the cleaners and a member of the Reception team, extra tea, cups etc were supplied, but our beds weren't made. Finally, mid afternoon, the beds were made!!
The tram stop is outside the door, making it easy to get to the Station. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom modern.

Absolutely beautiful hotel,the room was beautiful and a great size. It was spotless clean and beautiful It was in a brilliant location,close to pubs and bars and transport. I would definitely stay here again

Hard pillows
Location, Location, Location. Easy access to Utilita Arena, tram stop opposite hotel, numerous bars and restaurants. Upper floors very quiet and comfortable. Awesome buffet breakfast

The walls are pretty thin so you could hear a lot of background noise/banging doors etc. The carpets could also do with getting done up just a tad! The windows were a little dirty so couldnt appreciate the view as much as it deserved. Very much nit picking here!
Very welcoming staff and lovely lobby/bar area. It was in a perfect location for the venues we were attending in the city. The room we had was an amazing size with two giant double beds which meant we had one each. Would definitely stay here again!

Possibly a room with 3 single beds as we were were a group of 3 friends.

The pillows were a bit too hard for my liking and we couldn’t adjust the air con in the room so it was a bit too warm for us overnight
