Our pillows were much too hard for us and we didn't sleep as well compared to our previous stay. Our room was also split level with some steps leading down to the fridge and cupboard and I struck my head on the low sloping roof at the top of the steps, I think some padding or a clear warning sign should be installed to prevent guests from injuring themselves as it is very difficult to avoid especially if a person is tall which I'm not !!

We enjoyed another one night stay at the Lyndon as we were attending another gig at the Resorts World Arena. We had a nice check in experience as we were warmly welcomed by the proprietor who remembered us from before. We stayed in the smaller front room this time which was quite nice apart from being a little bit too small for the amount of luggage we had with us and it felt a bit cramped,however, it was no problem for our one night stay. Nice TV in the room with a tea and coffee making facilities. There was a bit more of a wait for the shared bathroom on this occasion as there were more guests, however, it wasn't a problem for us as other guests were considerate and didn't hog the bathroom which has a lovely heated floor.

We enjoyed our one night stay, the accommodation was perfectly suitable to attend a concert at the nearby Resorts World Arena .Our room was large, warm, quiet and comfortable with a good quality fridge and TV, although we don't usually like having to share a bathroom there was no problem here as it was always available and was also very clean with a good quality shower with hot water all the time.We would stay here again if attending the N.E.C complex.

There wasn’t anything to dislike.

The room is lovely size and the bed is very comfortable. Shops and restaurants near by to purchase anything needed. There is also the option of purchasing food from the property which is a nice touch.

the location was good a little difficult to find. i didnt stay for breakfast ,check in very nice and helpful , good atmosphere, clean room plenty of power points for phone quiet area but very good for NEC

The location of the BnB wasn't quite right for us.

Being picky the only minor dislike was a shared bathroom. I prefer an ensuite but I booked at short notice so choice was limited. . Having said that it was a nice bathroom and I had no problem accessing it.

Location was excellent in a quiet suburban area and only a short drive to M42. The room was good value for the money with a very comfortable double bed. Staff live on premises and were pleasant with an eagerness to ensure my stay was good. The breakfast was well cooked and plentiful

In perhaps a thousand hotel stays over the past 20 years, I've never before been hit by such a barrage of ridiculous rules and threats of fines and so on by any property ever. They try to make you sign a ridiculous contract you have no pre-warning of when you book here on booking dotcom, which makes it under duress and unenforceable anyway. The pre-comms, the doorway, the room, the bathroom, the Folder Of Doom (TM) you're supposed to read and inwardly digest - everywhere you have rules and threats of fines and expulsion, and treated like a naughty schoolboy rather than a valued guest. In case the owner writes a snarky reply claiming I was somehow at fault - as he has for so many other reviews that dare to reveal the truth about the guest experience here - no I didn't bring anyone back (£35 fine!), no I wasn't noisy or disturbing other guests - in fact I had no interaction whatsoever with anyone at all, workers or other guests, during my stay. The guy should take an objective look at his offering, listen to his feedback, chill the heck out and start again with all the notices.

Exceptional value for money for a large room which was clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom was huge and well-maintained, I loved the underfloor heating.

the room keys are left in the porch, with your name on. someone had taken our keys and left theirs. no one around to check that this was a key for us and that we weren't taking someone else's room we were only left 1 towel but left a note and had a second by the time we returned

There was a lot of rules stipulated, they didn't affect me, but I felt a little judged by having all these rules and penalties! They must have had a bad couple of guests to do this so I can appreciate it.

Location was good for a traveler as it was next to some shops and also some restaurants etc as well as a pub down the road as well. 15 min drive to the NEC, Car parking was good and good communication with the host via email and text. Room was comfortable and spacious with plenty of seating and a desk to do work on.

I arrived late and didn’t see the the front of the house until the next morning. The driveway and front garden area was very messy and in need of beautification.
