I was charged two deposits, one of them I was told about and the other I was not made aware. This didn’t affect me but it would have been nice to have some warning before payment was taken out - what if I didn’t have money in the account? Secondly, as we were leaving, staff noticed we had many bags with us but not one person opted to help packing them into the car. Help is the least I would expect from a 5* hotel.

Excellent facilities all round, the decor is stunning and smells amazing. When you walk in, you feel a million pounds. The staff were lovely and greeted us with huge smiles on their faces. A huge shout out goes to Hamid who genuinely went above and beyond. The biggest highlight was our deluxe room with city views. The rooms are really spacious and decorated to perfection. The bathrooms are genuinely worth every penny of the booking, the heated floors, massive sinks and refreshing showers are so worth it.

Room and view - absolutely astonishing! The service (having someone drop by in the evening, open the bed, close the curtains and line up the slippers at the foot of the bed is much appreciated). And the "wow!" effect when entering the room for the first time and having the curtains opening automatically to reveal the fantastic view! Same for the lights that automatically turn on when entering the room. Great! The bathroom was exceptional - the door separating the toilet from the rest of the bathroom is much appreciated and rare.

Everything! Really, we’ve always liked The Pan Pacific. This time the breakfast has really improved so we stayed for both mornings in the hotel. The staff and set up have been very thoughtful and always there for anything.

The outside of the windows in our room needed cleaning and therefore ruined the view a little. We felt the toilet paper should have been nicer quality too. We found the pool to be quite cold so I think that should be a little warmer to be able to really enjoy it. These are very minor issues and the only slight faults we had in our whole stay.

Absolutely everything- from the minute we entered the staff were excellent and so attentive. The turn down service and all of the little touches in the room. We really loved it. Beautiful hotel.

Everything. Stayed many times because it’s immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. Staff are always courteous, helpful and professional. The location works for us and if we choose to eat here we know it will be excellent.

The architecture and interior design were extremely impressive! My husband and I are extremely pleased by the service of the staff, especially Hamid who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The bed was super comfortable and we just did not want to leave.

Our tea and coffee was very slow in the morning. Other than that everything was excellent.

Room was very expensive for what it was. We often stay at Cheval Three Keys which is better value for money.

I went with friends, we upgraded our room and they stayed with normal room. Ironically they had maid service asking if they needed anything and came back after a evening out to find slippers etc by the bed, however, even though upgraded, we didnt get this.. I have now raied this with management and they have repsonded positively. The hotel was exceptional in all aspects.

I’ve given the property an 8/10. Firstly, it’s an excellent hotel but I do think the £450-£500 per night is pretty high. Secondly, the billing process is quite frustrating. Amounts are ‘held’ on your account (but in my experience actually charged) for incidentals but then you are billed again when you check out meaning you’re left waiting for substantial refunds (in my instance are £800). My bill was also wrong when I checked out but I identified that before leaving. It shouldn’t be so complicated.

The location for business in the City of London is almost unbeatable - excellent location across the road from Liverpool St. The rooms are also large by London standards and extremely well appointed, you don’t feel cramped.
