The only bad thing to say was that our room had a lot of big stains all over the carpet, and the heating didn’t work

Car park was a pain. Didn’t recognise my reg so had to go back to reception to let us in three could t get out so had to ring again from the car. Also the shower made a noise like a trumpet at full blast. Sorry to the surrounding rooms at 6:30am.

Overall a very pleasant stay. Interesting and attractive decor. Friendly staff. We asked to change to a higher floor to fit in with the booking.com description of a deluxe room having a city view. Rooms nice and quiet despite lots of traffic on the roundabout. Could do with more hooks in the bathroom. Breakfast was good - ample and varied.

Check in was a very long wait and the queue moved very slowly! And was queued to the lifts, which was awkward to manouver with cases

I recently stayed at Hotel Park Regis in Birmingham during the cricket game between England and Pakistan at Edgbaston Cricket Stadium. Our experience was exceptional, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Mr. Bahman, the Guest Relation Manager. We arrived in Birmingham early in the morning and were initially unable to check in before 3pm. Upon arriving at the hotel to drop off our luggage, we requested the ladies at the reception to check us in. However, the rooms were not ready yet, and they asked us to wait in the lobby. After half an hour, Mr. Bahman came by, and we approached him to help us out. He was incredibly nice and friendly. After explaining our situation to him, he went above and beyond to accommodate us by arranging an early check-in and offering us breakfast. Mr. Bahman was thoroughly professional and ensured we were comfortable by booking us an executive room with twin beds. This allowed us to relax and freshen up before heading to the stadium in the noon. Once again, thank you, Mr. Bahman, for hosting us and making our stay so pleasant. We will definitely come back! Bar staff slow and unfriendly, we’ve stayed at the PR Birmingham a few times and this remains the one consistently disappointing experience, big contrast to reception team. The car park is probs secure but is pricey and surprisingly tight to manoeuvre in.

Excellent room, spacious and comfortable bed - we upgraded and was worthwhile. Reception staff very helpful.

Weren't given full instructions for the lifts and the first receptionist should be aware that just because my husband joined me at the desk, they should not then talk directly at him and ignore me. They were already addressing me as Miss Lucy, not my married name as per the booking.

Great parking and location for the city centre. Good value for money.
