The mattress in the budget room needs to be changed because the springs are too obvious. There was a bit of pilfering in the kitchen, but, of course, that's an issue among the guests. Nothing else to moan about.

There were lots of non-chain grocery stores in the neighborhood. The shared-house was much less anonymous than staying in a hotel or hostel. The wild garden is beautiful, even in March. The area is very quiet at night. There are two good bus lines nearby. There were shampoo and body wash dispensers on the wall in the shower. Management is very attentive about maintaining the place in good shape and provides very detailed info to ensure a pleasant stay.

The location and free on-street parking was good for me, as I was not really going into Birmingham city centre (though if I had wanted to, it wouldn't have taken very long on the train or bus). However, instead I was driving from just outside the city, so it was extra-ideal. I also liked the option of no-contact check-in, as I arrived quite late and didn't feel guilty about disturbing anyone. The room was clean and comfortable (if a little hot - but a fan had been provided, and it was one of the hottest days of the year so far). The shared bathroom and kitchen facilities seemed clean and well-maintained and the shower worked well. I used the fridge in my room slightly, too.

Because of some reasons, I needed to stay for two more days in Birmingham. I did not go to find another accommodation and preferred to stay in here. It was because the house was clean and tidy. Travelling by bus is easy but the outside area of the house is different to City Centre. Though the receiving TV signal was not strong enough and sometimes TV screen stalled, I would not bother as most of time I was on internet. The host is helpful and responds quickly. The whole house is generally clean and tidy. It is like living in a student accommodation with everything in there. If you are budgeted where to stay, it is one of your best choices. There is a bus no. 52 just down the road with 20 minutes takes you to the town centre.

My room did not have any wardrobe/place to hang clothes. One shower did not have also place to hang your stuff. The room could have desk with chair but ofc it is not obligatory. The area where house is situated could be scary after dark, but personally I did not have any problems.

The room and common areas are very clean. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. There is washing machine and all necessary equipment to dry and iron your clothes. My room was big, had double-sized bed, microwave, fridge and electric kettle. Bed was pretty comfortable. TV worked and had lots of channels. In case of questions there is always help from landlord side. My contact person was Shah-he responds immediately on queries through WA chat or booking chat. There is a bus going to the city center -no 52, bus stop is 5 minutes from house.

The area is rough and intimidating. Upon entry it was dark outside and I found it very difficult to locate a light switch that was connected to a light, probably be an improvement on the building had automatic motion lighting.

The room and facilities were great, the room had a microwave, fridge and kettle. Bed was comfortable. Landlady was very helpful and communication was great.

Good service for the price. The house is bright and airy, clean and comfortable. Lovely atmosphere, suited my needs. One bus ride away from the City centre.

No toilet paper for two days in a row; the bathroom was not cleaned daily. The shower would need a protection for water not to come out from it. The host asks for a 100£ deposit.
