Friendly, welcoming staff and a very comfortable hotel with great food, both at breakfast and evening meals at the weekend. The hotel is uphill, just outside Beddgelert with great views along the valley. It's only about 15 mins walk along the access road and a path beside the river into the village. A lovely, quiet spot. Highly recommended.

The lane up to the property is very steep and narrow without passing places. Fine if you don’t meet anything coming the other way!

The superior room was supposed to have a king size bed, but was a double. The decor in the room was a bit dated. Overall nothing that would stop us recommending Sygun Fawr - the team, the location, and the overall property are what makes it great.

Location was perfect, just a short 5-10 min walk outside Beddgelert village centre. The house is beautiful and the staff are really friendly and helpful. It has a lovely warm, homely feel. The honesty bar is a great touch too.

The location is exceptional. I call it my second home. Keith and all the rest of the staff that were there made us feel very much at home. A wonderful place to stay you won’t be disappointed in any way. Truly wonderful.

The place and our experience were perfect. I would probably only say that it would be good to provide more information around attractions, services (bike rent, bus info, pubs, etc) and hiking routes in the area.

The location is incredible with a beautiful garden that soothes your soul. It's very peaceful and you can only hear birds, the water flowing in the ponds and streams and the whisper of the wind. With a lovely 15-min walk you are in the village where there are a few pubs and shops. With less than 15-min drive you find the starting point of one of the routes to go up to Snowdon. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast choices are abundant. The waffle with the bacon and the Welsh yoghurt were fantastic! It's such a special place and we would definitely come back if we come to Snowdonia again.

I literally can't fault anything.

What an amazing place !!! The location is absolutely stunning as is the area !! It's just so beautiful every where you look ,I just couldn't stop taking photos !! The hosts couldn't of been nicer or more helpful. The room had a spectacular view of mountains the food was delicious I had breakfasts and evening meals which were really good . I had a wonderful stay and I definitely wouldn't hesitate in going back !!!

I wish we'd had more time to spend in this beautiful place. We were over for only 2 days but were out very early in the morning and back late in the evening. On our next visit we plan to stay around and enjoy this beautiful paradise.

We were greeted by the proprietors, such lovely people with a great sense of humour and they made us feel very welcome!

It was a pretty narrow, steep path up to the house. Although we got there fine, I probably noticed it more as I have a larger car.

Very reasonably priced for what you got. Stunning setting and lovely little village only a short walk away. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Lovely room and facilities.
