The food was mediocre. I don’t recommend the breakfast plan and I’d avoid eating more than once in the restaurant. The ambience is great but the food is not good

Room was very small. There was nowhere to have suitcases open. We missed breakfast on a couple of days when we had commitments, perhaps could open a little earlier.

Great location and the staff were fabulous. Rooms were very clean and quiet, considering location and age of building. The breakfast was very good. We particularly liked the coffee pot in lieu of just a cup.

James at Reception, and all the staff, actually -- all wonderful! Loved the free bar tokens we received on arrival, as well as the free drinks & sweeties in the mini bar. Really unexpected and a nice touch. The room was so clean! Couldn't fault anything. AND we arrived in the morning, only hoping to leave our suitcases somewhere safe while we wandered around London -- but our room was ready! Couldn't believe it. One of our favourite London hotels now, for sure.

The room was located in the 2nd building so it required taking two elevators. Not easy with luggage. It was not near the front desk at all and we booked it 6 months in advance. I was wondering if you book on line through Expedia or Booking.com, if they give you the rooms furthest from the front desk. The air conditioner was very weak. Lighting was not the best, two lamps in our room were out.

The hotel is beautiful and is centrally located. It's right near two train stations, which is perfect for sight seeing. Staff was attentive. They held our luggage and brought it directly to our room before we were able to check in. Every morning if you requested a wake up call, they followed up by knocking on your room door. That was a nice touch! Very nice amenities such as robe, slippers and beautiful toiletries.

There was nothing to dislike here.

The room was excellent and very quiet considering we were close to Charing Cross station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was so central which made it easy to see the major sights.

The only criticism was that on both mornings, our coffee pot, when placed on our table was just luke warm. An easy issue to resolve.

The room was on the side of the extended hotel, but it was really peaceful. The room was spacious and facilities very good. We probably had the best night's sleep in London ever - the bed was very comfortable and lovely plump pillows. Breakfast was very good, lots to choose from and attentive staff.

The drainage from the shower was poor and I told reception when I left yesterday. Also , had to report there was one bath towel left and had to ring for hand towels and a bath mat.

The hotel is in a fabulous location, the staff is helpful and well-informed, and the rooms are a decent size for London, clean, and very well-lit.

The television system is poor. We couldn't connect to iPlayer - we used the on screen instructions, with two different devices, but couldn't connect. Reception were helpful and provided a cable when we asked, but it didn't connect with an Apple tablet. We also couldn't work the air conditioning/heating system, and were much too hot the first night. Better the second night though.

Really nice, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location. The Room was a good standard, lovely bathroom and comfortable beds.

We did not like the way we were billed as they took double payments one they cleared up when brought to their attention a second double payment took 10 days to show removed from bank account.

The position was great for visiting London. Access to the underground & buses. The room was good and clean the bed comfy. The food was good too.

Housekeeping was inconsistent sometimes the bed was not made properly and the coffee table was not wiped down . For the class of hotel I don't feel that is acceptable
