The pool could do with a clean more often, got clumps of hair caught in my fingers when swimming first thing in the morning.

Amazing dog friendly hotel, directly on fisteral Beach. Nice walk in to the town. Dog receive a lil welcome pack with water bowl and bed which was amazing. Staff were really friendly.

Parking was a pain, as very limited for the size of the hotel and it was busy on the main road at most times

I was given a room close to the lift because of my walking difficulties, with a warning that there were still a couple of steps here and there. That was kind except that the room itself had several steep steps into the the bathroom which I didn’t expect and were quite hazardous for me as I’m far more likely to fall after I’ve been sleeping and haven’t used my feet for a few hours - meaning that in the night and first thing in the morning when I most need the toilet, I am most likely to have a fall. It was quite nerve wracking and I had to lean my weight against the walls to stop my feet giving way. The pool is tiny though we still enjoyed it before the family ‘bombing’ competitions started! I also feel that the main lounge/restaurant windows should be cleaned more regularly - perhaps every other day - as this is a marketing feature of the hotel but they were so dirty (I understand the sea air and seagulls are a constant problem in this regard) that it spoiled the view and in the cold weather, this would have been a lovely place to capture some shots of the stunning sea and coast. They weren’t cleaned in the 6 days we were there. Just a comment and I still think the hotel is beautiful.

The views, the facilities, the attention to detail and cleanliness, the friendly staff, the selection of drinks available at the bar. Even the shortbread biscuits in the room were absolutely lovely and the selection of teas was very thoughtful .

Very nice and welcoming hotel. Loved the fact that it is family and dog friendly. My daughters loved the place. We have had a lovely big room with an outstanding view. It was lovely to wake up and see the ocean from the bed. Watching sunset after a lovely dinner in the cove while our girls were playing in the playing area was just a cherry on top of the cake.

If you were using the hotel as a base and wanted to venture out in the car every day then definitely pre book a space as the spaces on the road get really full up with surfers and we did find it tricky finding a space close enough to the hotel at times so I can imagine summer season would be even worse. The hotel has good parking but yeah obviously just book ahead 😃 .

Absolutely superb stay especially if you have children.. its incredible.. swimming pool area is so lovely with the sauna and hot tub a bonus, the children's activities are so lovely and the staff are fab especially one of the managers Claudia, so welcoming! The food was really lovely 😍. Couldn't fault it at all . Cleanliness was great and all the cleaners so friendly and helpful. We didn't use the cinema but poked our head in and it looked really sweet . There was also a laundry room which from a mums point of view was a bonus! 😃

We love the hotel.. we had a sea view balcony room and the view is just beautiful.. all staff are friendly and helpfull ... the breakfast is fantastic plenty of choice we can't wait to go back.

Staff in the restaurant were just slightly too nice, no need to try so hard

Facilities were absolutely amazing, staff were really welcoming and helpful. The food was fantastic. We made good use of the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Also the fireplace was a great setting to finish the evening. We had a nice view of the beach too.

We were close to what I imagine was the store for the kitchen or bar so I heard staff coming and going and shutting the door quite a lot

Beautiful hotel over looking Fistral Beach, lovely lobby and seating area, restaurant and breakfast choices excellent. Lovely bar for evenings. Nice pool and jacuzzi area, lovely touch to get robes for use. Amazing toiletries in bathroom - organic. Riims very clean, lovely shortbread with tea/coffee. Staff very helpful & friendly. Complimentary drink as we were celebrating an anniversary

I know we were in a dog room, but f me that stank of dog. Our dog doesn't stink, he doesn't malt, but it was so unfortunate the stink in the room. Service for dinner was a bit poor, had to keep asking for someone to take our order, but I guess that's the negative about having a dog and sitting by reception, ppl forget about you

Great value for money. Room size was great, bathroom and coffee facilities were perfect. Everything available was amazing, kids soft play, outdoor pirate park, cinema.

You put two single beds together. My Mrs was always on the otherside of the bed rather than hurting one's torso / back by laying in the middle of the two beds. I did not want to complain , in hindsight I should of pointed this out.

Hotel is lovely and the location is superb. Special mention to the wonderful member of staff who had our room ready for just after midday , sorry I did not get her name (latin looking) , for this we are both very thankful and grateful.
