This place is absolutely a gem, if you are staying in Tainan, and Jerry is a great host. Clean, quiet, well designed, friendly and comfortable: what else can you wish from a hostel? I would definitely come again!

- Towels are not provided for free - Check-in was not 100% smooth: I was asked to rebook the room on another website if I was to come after check-in hours, payment was by cash, and I had to ring the doorbell twice before the staff came (even though I arrived at the right time). Those are tiny little details, but always great to know before you book.

- What a surprising hostel, really interesting ! - You have your own “cubicle”, it closes with a key for more privacy - Shower was tiny but has everything you need - Really clean - Well situated

Perfectly positioned in a quiet lane with lots of close by cafes and pubic transport options. Bunks are enclosed for privacy and noise reduction. Owner is friendly and helpful.

Juest a very minor thing: when I arrived, the door was locked and there was no indication anywhere what to do, where to ring or knock. Fortunately, a staff person appeared a few minutes later.

Beautifully, individually and architectonically renovated old house in one of Tainan's old neighbourhoods with narrow streets and lot's of small things to discover. I was especially amazed how spacious and comfortable the capsule was and how silent it was at night. (OK, I might have had to luck to have very considerate co-travellers on the day I was there.) I have never stayed in a place that offered me so much comfort in very little space for so little money (might have had to do with the exchange rate, too.)!

Showers in some bathrooms could be wider, difficult not to get your towel and changing clothes wet while showering but it is nothing serious I had great time :)

There were fans in the ‘pods’ but they were very loud, I could hear the fan above me. The beds were slightly on the hard side.

The room was surprisingly big for a hostel. My spouse and I were really pleased with the accommodation and how well-designed the hostel is. It is an actual maze!

the shower room is small, and if u booked the backpacker room(second floor), u need to go the first floor to use the shower room and the toilet, which is a bit inconvenient.

I have no complaints

One of the best, if not the best, hostel I have been to in Taiwan. The layout and decor of the facilities were exceptional, the beds were very comfortable, and the owner was very friendly. The amenities were exactly as described, and the location was perfect -- walkable from the train station, but more into the heart of the city than other facilities.

The Hostel is in an old building and had been transformed in to a stylish and great accommodation. The Beds are very comfortable and provide a high degree of privacy. We stayed for 4 nights and loved it

The doors and roof have a lot of gaps to the outside, meaning mosquitoes are unavoidable, although they did provide a zapper. After booking, I received a message asking to do a bank transfer within 24 hours to confirm the room, this was fine but it would have been nice to know in advance, luckily I checked my emails in time.

Stunning room in a very quirky property. Our room was directly next to the (shared) bathroom which was very convenient. The building is an aesthetic mismatch of corridors, stairways and balconies decorated with various artwork and plants, and set in a lovely quiet backstreet, right in the middle of the West Central District. Host was very helpful and we were able to leave our bags during the day. I'd happily stay again.

Jerry’s maze is a very interesting place, worth a visit both the hostel and the coffee shop. The area is very nice with little shops all around and the place has a retro vibe that really makes it special. Jerry is very nice and will help you with anything needed!

The top bunk beds are a cubicle style where you are walled-in with the door at your feet, some may find this a bit claustrophobic.

Very welcoming and a niche looking hostel. Location is great and all the facilities were of a good standard.

tiny bathrooms are downstairs

Tiny traditional place away from the (noisy) main roads. The rare space is well organized, fantastic comfortable sleeping boxes offering lots of privacy, clean, quiet, good wifi (make sure you get connected to the right provider - not the one signposted!). Apparently you can wash your laundry for free.
