Great city, great malls with good choice of eating places especially for meat lovers. For nature lovers they are beautiful places around the city to visit like Gaborone game reserve, Mmokolodi, Tsholofelo park and Gaborone dam

Very friendly locals, excellent trustworthy taxi driver (Kenny - I made use of him all the time I was there and he was on time, very knowledgeable, pointed out landmarks, chatted amiably, informed - an excellent conversationalist - and I think very fair with his fares.
I found the city incredibly clean and free of garbage. This is exceptional and I cannot say the same about the capital cities of South Africa, unfortunately. My people can learn from the citizens of Botswana.

The pula was more to rands and when i looked at my statement i was not happy :( i think our rands should do better. The people around are friendly and help full. Riverwalk mall not bad at all, we had our meals and bought the snacks too at pick 'n pay. We went for a game drive at Mokolodi Nature Reserve, it is easy to drive around. Next time i need to bring more money and be prepared, as i was not ready for how expensive it was :)

Gabs has when cheerful people.
Gabs has when cheerful people. It's an affordable city, transport costs are affordable. Don't bring USD notes before 2009. Loved Table50Two at iTowes in CBD and also enjoyed Avani. Bring light clothing in summer.

what I love most about the city is how safe it is, the people are generally very helpful and speak English. There are a few sight seeing hot spots, but the best place to spend the afternoon is at Main Mall, it has artists, music, food and everything in between. There are also 2 nature reserves in the outskirts of the city and a botanical garden that I loved.
Guest House is situated in a safe and tranquil area, offering not just accommodation but an unparalleled experience. From the delicious food that feels like home to the beautiful garden and pristine swimming pool, every aspect exudes comfort and relaxation. The staff, with their exceptional service and warm demeanor, truly make it a home away from home. I highly recommend Manasse to anyone visiting Gaborone; it's where I'll be staying every time I return."
A beautiful, peaceful chalet surrounded by nature, yet a short drive to the city of Gaborone. The staff and the host were incredibly kind and friendly. The breakfast supplied was plentiful and full of variety and the daily cleaning service was a surprising bonus. We loved strolling through the property and along the river and enjoyed seeing so many varieties of birds, butterflies, and indigenous plants. What a gem of a place!
The apartment was well equipped with everything you need for self-catering. Comfortable bed and a lovely little private garden at the back with a patio and big shady trees. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful as were all the staff at the apartments. Located in a lovely leafy suburb it is roughly 10 minutes drive to the CBD. This will definitely be my go-to place in Gaborone.
I was very impressed. Zero bureaucracy, respectful of my privacy, didn't have to make copies of my passport and credit card like I had to do at all 3 previous hotels I have visited in Africa (Nairobi, Lagos, and Johannesburg). There was an issue with the main property gate where a thunderstorm rendered it inoperable and they fixed it with little fuss. Overall very impressed.
Fabulous 2 double bed room apartment with private parking. One bedroom has a balcony with views across to Gaborone reservoir and kgale Hill. TVs in all rooms, so plenty to keep the kids happy. The whole complex is surrounded by walls and has security personnel on site. Very close to Game City shopping mall and easy to get to from the airport.
very nice nice quiet location. But easy to access shopping centers and the city center. very clean and comfortable room and facilities. check in was fast and easy. The staff was just lovely, kind and with good recommendations and helped me arrange onward travel. excellent value in Gaborone.
The embient, the staff at front desk, the restaurant, the breakfast and our room cleaner. The housekeeping was very efficient in replacing light bulb. People in the hotel were all nice in general. Always smiling which make you feel welcome.
We loved the location, convenience, amenities, and views. The willingness to assist us with anything we needed was simply amazing. Everyone we meet greeted with a smile and welcomed us to this most beautiful city...GABORONE!
This place is conveniently-located if you need to stay within central Gaborone. It's quiet, has a lovely home-like ambience. I cannot recommend it enough. Natasha & the team are absolutely amazing. Friendly & courteous.
We really enjoyed staying at AQUARIAN, as staff are very welcoming.
There is big shopping mall nearby the hotel, just walking distance less than five minutes in which your find varieties of food and shopping.
What a beautiful guest house. The home is immaculate and nicely designed and kept. The staff, especially Abi, were so accommodating in all of the ways possible. I would definitely stay here again.
Perfect location if you need to use a shuttle or a coach to travel to destinations outside of Gaborone. Very spacious rooms and having a fridge is very handy
The hotel is located in the center of the CBD. Staff are mostly nice but can't make a general statement. Room are spacious with amenities you would expect.
