We mainly explored the old town and chilled near the beautiful lake. We also went for a hike nearby.
The old town has really nice restaurants. Ideally it's better to reserve before going for the restaurants to have Fondue/Raclette.
It's easy to get around Annecy by hiring a bike or taking the public bus. However one should be careful about the timings if you want to visit nearby places from Annecy. The buses are not so frequent.

The place is the perfect combination of nature and culture.
The place is the perfect combination of nature and culture. Compact and yet full of little surprises, Annecy is a charming French city that should be in every traveller’s bucket list. Plenty of excellent dining options, the majestic Alps before you, the Lake and the river around which the place weaves its spell. Late March, early April werent as packed with tourists as summer, so the pace is less harried. Prices, too, both for food and accommodation are very affordable. Three restaurants we tried : Cozna, Saba and Le Bouillon, all Michellin recommended - provided excellent food and service.

Beautiful old city.
Beautiful old city.
Gorgeous views of a pristine, clear lake.
Old town area was lovely and the Sunday market seemed really authentic.
Have a trip on the boat to admire the substantial houses dotted along the shoreline, enjoy an ice cream and take lots of pics.
There is a good bus service if you want to go further afield. We visited Talloires Montmin on the other side of the lake by car but I noticed it is on a bus route too.

Maximum charm in a small footprint: the Old Town is pedestrian-only, small streets that wind around and across the river, farmers markets, cutesy shops, plenty of cheese-y dinners... the place is a picture-postcard for France.

Not too much to do in the rainy weather. Drinks are very expensive.
Great market in the old town 3 times per week. Lots of quirky little side streets and beautiful buildings within the city. Great to wander around.
Can walk parts of the lake or hire a bike. It’s beautiful even on rainy days
The staff were so friendly, the hotel is beautiful and location perfect. I look forward to returning again. We used Hebe's electric bicycles to reach Lake Annecy in 5 minutes. Breakfast was delicious. Wifi is speedy. Parking is 1 minute away and even subsidised. Hebe really is the perfect boutique hotel. When you don't need a spa or conference facilities. Just a warm welcome, stylish interior design, a comfy bed and everything on your doorstep... Oh and it is all at a very reasonable price!
Everything! The rating score on booking doesn't do this hotel justice!
I had a large, spotless, nice room, with a spacious bathroom. It looks like newly renovated, very clean and well decorated.
Air conditioning and coffee machine work wonderfully.
Location is right at the beach.
The price comparing to other hotels in Annecy is very cheap, and the value is top!
The 12 euro breakfast is served at the Bon Pain that is in the hotel. There is really no need to pay 12 euros. One can simply select a few items and pay less. The parking is under the hotel and one can take the lift from the underground hotel to your room. The location is across the lake and a short walking distance from the old town.
Everything was so nice! I booked it for my mom and sister, they loved it, especially the posters, decorations in the living room, it's a place full of Annecy vibe :) It was better than we imagined. The location is nice too, close to old town center but quiet. Well equipped kitchen with way enough and very clean tableware.
Warm welcome and great communication from Stephane and Fabrice to their immaculate and lovely property. Location 2 minutes walk outside old town, easy secure parking and everything thought of in provisions and comfort. Extremely detailed information for things to do and places to eat in Annecy.
the hotel is an a good location with direct access to parks, the lake and the old town.
it was easily accessible by walking from the train station.
the bed was wonderful with a set of 4 pillows of various firmness.
in spite of much car traffic, the windows shielded the noise very well.
I liked its location, convenient and close to the train station (03 minutes walking) and also close to old town(08-10 minutes walking). The hotels employees were very kind and attentive with us,allowing us to keep our luggages before and after our stay for some time.
Very comfy hotel near to Lake Annecy in a nice and out of the way part of town. Could only stay overnight, but our quick stay was very nice. Remarkably good service by the staff, who also speak English. Highly recommended
Well located, the room had everything including a great balcony with a view. Very close to the old town and all the room facilities you would expect of a four star hotel. Nice bathroom & comfy bed
spacious room and spacious bathroom. we had a corner room with nice view of the city. good location with everything around you and easy access of Annecy old town. private parking garage
We had a corner room overlooking a small canal. Windows on 2 sides. The staff was wonderful and anticipated our every need. The hotel was amidst the old town charm of Annecy.
