Flawless! Location is perfect in the centre of Cascais, right next to the train station and easy to drive to from Lisbon with free parking on site. The staff were incredible - welcoming, friendly, attentive, helpful with recommendations. The hotel is small but the facilities are incredible, even including a small gym and terrace for yoga in the mornings. The pool was the perfect spot to relax, a complete oasis in the centre of Cascais. Breakfast was outstanding. Love it and would 10000% recommend.

Carpets in our room very tired with many stains, we were unlucky as two noisy wedding parties one after another. Woken 3 nights around 1.30-2.00 am not the hotels fault but still part of our stay ! Breakfast was fairly poor as couldn’t get a poached egg right or keep up with hot food required! think due to wedding guests all eating at same time resulting in leaving nothing! for the rest other fruit which was good . Definitely would not stay again and we have gone to Cascais for last 4 years!

Cascais is a small city located on the outskirts of Lisbon. Once a fishing village and defence outpost, the royalty transformed it into a stylish summer resort. Mixing beautiful beaches, elegant mansions, imposing fortifications, and a wide variety of hotels, Cascais is a great option for every season.
King Luís II used the city as his summer residence from 1870 to 1908, attracting other celebrities, and changing the destiny of the tranquil village forever. Modern roads and railway lines linking to Lisbon and Sintra were built, as well as a casino and other facilities. Some of the best hotels and 5-star resorts in Cascais date back to these times.
Nowadays, the town is a cosmopolitan beach retreat along the Estoril Coast, where people from Lisbon and other Portugal cities come for a day or weekend escapade. Many foreign tourists prefer its more relaxed hotels over the sometimes hectic Lisbon atmosphere.
Don’t miss the Citadel, rebuilt during the 16th century in a typical star-shaped Renaissance style. Other attractions include the Museum of the Sea and the ‘Paula Rego House of Stories’.
Beach hotels are the gem of Cascais and you can find a wide range on Booking.com. Check your availability with enough time in advance, as the city remains a popular summer destination.
The city itself is well run and maintained. The historic buildings, waterfront, and numerous restaurants with nice shopping opportunities make it a good destination. The beach is lovely! And we did a day trip to Sintra.

The hotel Vila Gale is approximately a 10 minute walk from Cascais centre where the restaurants and bars are. It was a great hotel for the pool as not many in Cascais have a large pool like this hotel does. It was great having use of the electric scooters to get to and from the hotel. Bring cash as a lot of the shops are cash only!

It's an amazing, vibrant city close to Lisbon. It has it's charm, felt very cozy, with nice people, beaches, coastal walks and other cities, such as Sintra nearby. We've also went to Cabo da Roca, the most western part of continental Europe and the views are spectacular!

Our initial plan was to stay 2n and move to the next town, but we stayed for extra 3n in Cascais. It's a lovely, very vibrant city full of various attractions, restaurants and nice people. We visited beaches, rented a bicycle. The city has very easy connection with Lisbon, about 45min train ride. You can feel there's a lot of wealth in the city, and the quality of stay here is very high. Highly recommended.

I am very disappointed.
I am very disappointed. The apartment is nothing like the photos...old and smelly. Very low maintenance to the property. There was a mole at the bathroom and a lot of Flys at the bath and washroom. The smell was awful of some very harsh cleaning liquid mixed with mole smell. They just took a very poor condition apartment and painted everything in white but it is still old and smelly ...painted the mole as well but you could still see and smell it

Cascais is: charming, full of interesting things to see and places to go to, such as great restaurants and beautiful streets to visit, beaches, museums, old estate homes, parks and quality shops to visit. The Cascais train station will also
speedily get you to Lisbon. Dont miss this beautiful town and all it has to offer.
Absolutely fantastic hotel through and through- location is lovely, right on a great beach for all sorts of activities (kayaking to chilling to whatever). Hotel is very clean with excellent furnishings and thoughtful attention to detail. The staff was absolutely wonderful-- super kind and thoughtful. Really exceptional service. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was one of the best we've ever had in a hotel. On top of all that, they put out bowls and beds for our dog. Can't wait to come back!
The apartment was super comfortable. Two big bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room and a big kitchen with a dining room. Exactly as described and on photos. Aircondition! A kind of tarrace / garden with a common space for all guests. Super location for sightseeing this part of Portugal. 5-15 minutes by car to all beaches. 30 minutes to Lisbone. 20 minutes to Baca da Roca. And the owners are very friendly people. They welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a bottle of Port wine! I recommend.
Gorgeous room. Spacious, upgraded for free to a sea view with balcony. A real 5 star room.Thank you!!
The whole hotel is very beautiful and unique.
Nice pools, very clean and covid safe and friendly staff.
It seemed a bit quiet, probably because it's off peak season.
Short stroll to the town and marina.
We asked for a late check out and it was facilitated with no hassle. They are very accommodating in this hotel so will definitely return. Nothing seemed any trouble.
This was our first hotel in Portugal and it was perfect. The building itself is really cool - hard to describe but essential a modern, clean, white hotel integrated into an ancient fortress. It's uphill from the town, but only a few minutes walk. We loved walking to town and the marina area, as well as around the citadel. We weren't sure whether or not to stay in Cascais but I'm really glad we did. Very good breakfast, overlooking the harbor. Exceeded our expectations
We absolutely fell in love with the Pergola Boutique Hotel from the minute we walked in. The staff are just delightful, friendly and helpful and the building beautiful. We had a room with a balcony which was fabulously spacious and had a stunning bathroom with the best shower ever. Breakfasts were truly delicious - so healthy and fresh and lovely choices. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the train station yet the street was very quiet. We'd definitely come back.
The location is ideal and has a beautiful view. The property is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast included was a complete breakfast, lots of variety. The staff is very welcoming and friendly; Constanca, Pedro and Gonzalo’s recommendations made our experience there even better. Villa Cascais Boutique Hotel is a real dream… hope to come back in the near future.
The room couldn't be more comfortable and at the same time modern and huge (60 square meters!!)
The breakfast is amazing, as are all the other meals in the restaurant :)
I'm such a fan of this hotel! it's so close to Lisbon and at the same time the mood is all about "me time" with the SPA and massages, great views, beach walks and relax ... I will come back for sure :)
The Pergola is gem. The best option in Cascais by far. The walk to the beach is almost too short to enjoy the village streets. Gelato and Pastries in the same block as the Hotel!
The preservation of the historic mansion's interiors and furnishings is a special feature. You can imagine yourself living there in it's prime.
Lovely old, quirky Cascais house with a huge garden that has been done up as a guesthouse. Spotlessly clean and great value for money. I needed a crashpad for a night in Cascais as I was in town for a meeting and did not want to waste a ton of money on overpriced hotels. My room had an ensuite bathroom which was great.
Amazing place!
We asked for a Double Bed Deluxe for 1 night, and the bedroom and view are breathtaking.
The hotel is very luxurious, the staff from the dinner restaurant were 5 stars along with other staff from the hotel.
The balcony with the Sea view is amazing.
The Spa is a very plus for an excellent stay!
This hotel has a good location in very nice and luxury green area close to the golf fields. The staff was professional and very polite. The breakfast was very nice. Very big complement for the Kids Club and their team. Our kids were very happy and it's a place where you want to come back again.
Very charming unique family owned bed and breakfast in a remodeled mansion. Location very close to beaches and parks of Cascais. Breakfast was lovely with eggs, fruit, breads, and meat. Staff (family) went out of their way to meet your needs.
The hotel is studied in every detail, the co-working and common spaces are really beautiful. The staff is very nice. The room is comfy, very nice and clean. Favorite thing: best breakfast we’ve had in Portugal
Beautiful boutique hotel with views of the beach and fishing boats. Perfect walking distance to great restaurants and bars. Breakfast was wonderful and staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Spacious room, good location (10min walk from the centre of Cascais but in a quiet affluent neighborhood) and easy bike rental from the hotel. Staff were friendly and loved the hotel cat!
The location is great. Our room gave us direct view of the Ocean and the cliffs. We also enjoyed the food very much. Probably the best thing about Farol Hotel is the food.
perfect location with lovely views near to all the bars and restaurants. would class the hotel as 5 star. Spotlessly clean and very helpful staff. Highly recommended.
I love the staff that was so personable as well as informative. I loved the grounds the entire hotel has been made to be the focal point of the prestigious Cascais.
Beautiful new hotel in good location by the beach. Great service, good breakfast and views are gorgeous. Highly recommend and will be back as a guests again
