Bulawayo is cultural centre.
Bulawayo is cultural centre. There is the Bulawayo Kraal showcasing the Ndebele culture complementing the Amakhosi cultural Centre located at Mzilikazi suburb. There is also the Rhodes Matopo National Park which is home to Cecil John Rhodes, the fellow the country was once named after. There is plenty to see especially for those who are history inclined.

A vibrant, friendly metropolis fairly clean and well ordered by Zimbabwe standards. Infrastructure is a bit dated and could use an upgrade. Encroachment of informal trading on pavements compromises hygiene and cleanliness. Poorly lit and a nightmare to drive at night.

Bulawayo has a vibe and energy all its own.
Bulawayo has a vibe and energy all its own. Make sure you know your way back into town when returning from the Falls. I came back after dark and got frighteningly lost. There were no signs or working streetlights.

Bulawayo is very clean city, very spacious, no traffic congestion and its just good, good and if the authorities could think like most of us, it could be the capital city. I am a shona from Mutoko Mudzi and I stayed in Bulawayo in 1990s I know. There are so many favourite places in Bulawayo where one can enjoy
