A perfect place to stay if you are in Borjomi region. Nice building, spacious common areas in the building, as well as in the restaurant and in the garden. All of the people working there are more than supportive and welcoming. The host speaks perfect English, so communication is easy. The breakfast was the best we got during our trip in Georgia. Everything that you can ask for (including an incredible Chacha for breakfast ;)) and all of it homemade. We also had dinner there every evening, because it was delicious and really comfortable. They also have a small library and a firesite. There was a corner with kids' toys and our son loved playing inside and outside.
They even stopped us from putting back all the toys in the evening and said we should just relax and they will tidy up later - that is a real holiday for parents :D
We will definitely recommend Rivendell to all of our friends and come back to Borjumi region at some time just because of this jewel of accommodation!

In the charming town of Borjomi, a cable car offered a brief escape into nature's embrace. As it ascended, clean mountain air filled the cabins, carrying the fragrance of pine trees. The panoramic views revealed lush landscapes and the famous Borjomi mineral springs. Bathed in sunlight, the town's beauty left an indelible mark on passengers' hearts, making each cable car ride a journey into enchantment

Borjomi is a very small town with the main draw being the mountains and the park. 2 full days should be more than enough, even shorter if you use the jeep or pickup service instead of hoofing it on foot.
It also has a quaint little museum which details the history of the area in specific and has more of a focus on the wild life, contrasted with the more historical focus of other major Georgian museums.

A very beautiful town sitting in the bottom of a deep valley with actual sparkling water (yes it's carbonated) coming directly from the ground at several springs. Beautiful waterfalls, naturally hot sulphur spring baths and and a gorgeous river that wends its way through the deep ravine and forest in which Borjomi sits. Anyone from Russia will know Borjomi for its sparkling water but as a westerner, I had never heard of it.
The town is well worth a couple of days visit and has a rich and deep history. Whilst you are on your way there from Tbilisi, plan an afternoon stop at the cave town of Uplistsikhe too.

Borjomi is a beautiful town with views of the river and the surrounding mountains. It doesn't have many restaurants, I would recommend 'My House'.
It suits people that like to hike, there are multiple day hikes or longer hikes from Borjomi itself and the close villages.

Nothing much to see there other than the 4x4 mountain ride which i definitely recommend and the visit to the nature park.
If you love donuts, look for this shop called Rio and try the georgian donuts from there.
The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It's a beautiful property just a few steps away from Borjomi Central park. The rooms are modern, nice and spacious, offering views of the city. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection of food. A bar and a restaurant had some amazing dishes and wine. The hotel also offered a free pass to the sulfur baths (but you have to hike there for about 3km although it's pretty easy). Overall, a very nice destination.
The place is beautiful, with a big comfortable bed, a nice shower and a cute little kitchen. There are gorgeous views of the mountains and the air conditioning is much appreciated in the Georgian summer. There's a lovely little courtyard out the front to eat breakfast. Our host was so kind, attentive and informative and really went above and beyond for us. I would recommend Guest House Metreveli to anyone staying in Borjomi.
Absolutely outstanding place, perfectly located. Helpful, friendly owners who go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. Property is very clean throughout, and our room was spacious with everything that we needed. The hotel stay was very pleasant and comfortable. location was very convenient for getting around and many activities. If we were to travel to Georgia again, we would definitely stay there again!
The place is nice and the owner is friendly. She basically only speaks Georgian, but we got along OK. It's pretty clean and cozy and right next to the bus station and shopping area. A little bit far from the central park and the tourist area, about 20 min walk, but the neighborhood is quiet. The best thing is the veranda (balcony), was chilling there all the time, it's really great! Overall good experience.
The owner is kind, the place is clean (at least now, more on this later…), and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the common area is spacious. I was glad to see that the restroom and bathroom are two separate rooms, as in Georgia, it is common to have it together with no curtain or anything to protect the room from being completely flooded.
This is one of the best hotels to stay in Borjomi, we had beautiful views from the balcony and can listen to the sound of the river flowing. The rooms are super clean, spacious and comfortable. They have very nice breakfast for a small fee and the staff are super friendly. If you need parking they will reserve it for you.
Our Russian-speaking hosts were very gracious and friendly. The meals they served were delicious and probably the most abundant we experienced in Georgia--a country where hospitality is nearly always very generous. The rooms were very large, and the furnishings comfortable and/or elegant.
David, the host was the best host we had in Georgia. He greeted us at the bus stop and he was always available for every question we had. The room was very clean, bright, warm and quiet.
I definetely recommend when in Borjomi, stay at Goghichas tower :)
I could not believe that in the middle of a small town, I will find an amazing hotel like this. Outstanding in everything, staff, location, facilities, services, food and cleanliness. If you are traveling to Borjomi, do not hesitate to book it.
Lovely brand new hotel where I had the most comfortable bed in my whole trip in Georgia. It is very well located, close to the park and the central street. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We had great time in Borjomi
Kind georgian babushka will prepare you the breakfast. The place is beautiful and amazingly located, a marshytka station is right behind the hotel (30m). The Borjomi Central Park (not the little one) is 15min away (1km.
The hotel and the staff were excellent💥very nice location, friendly owners, the cafe on the first floor was the busiest spot in Borjomi, very delicious quisine and very helphful team❤️
Great new hotel with very friendly owners who were a great help and walked the extra mile for a comfortable stay. Location has great potential and is peaceful compared to busy Borjomi.
the property is really good and clean. the host, nino is also very nice and kind. can speak english, too. they are very welcoming. indeed, the famous Georgian hospitality.
Very nice hotel in the heart of Borjomi. Clean and cozy, with pleasant staff. We asked for the restaurant to go to, and the place was very good. Will return here.
Everything was great! Clean room, delicious breakfast and very friendly people. David was always ready to help and explain everything about Borjomi and Georgia.
