The location of this hotel is fantastic, with a stunning view of the valley, ocean and the Temple of Juno. The design esthetic is beautiful, we had a room with our own dipping pool and a view. It was lovely. The common area - pool - and grounds are beautifully done. It is a place you will enjoy spending time at, after a long hot day visiting the Valley of Temples which is only a five minute drive away. The food from breakfast, lunch and dinner was all exceptional. We would recommend doing one of the taster menus with wine. And the spa, which you can book privately, was fantastic and highly worth it.

Everything in this hotel is truly excellent. Location; helpfulness of all staff; sitting out to see the Grecian ruins and the see while enjoying a drink; very good breakfast in a large dining room; and adequate in-property parking.

Easy to find from bus station. Room was clean and breakfast plentiful and good variety. Shower was hot and good pressure. Sea view from narrow balcony was expansive but unshaded so hot to sit there.

A beautiful property in the countryside outside Agrigento, which was a welcome retreat after a day walking around the archaeological sites. The host was very welcoming and the bedroom was modern and comfortable. We had a first floor room with a balcony and it had a great view towards the sea. Breakfast was delicious, and the host recommended a place in Agrigento where we had the best dinner. A great stay!

An incredible city full of history that is impossible to absorb with only one visit. The Valley of Temples is breathtaking, and leaves a visitor in awe of its rich past. This is my second visit to Agrigento, but it’s never enough because there is so much to learn and appreciate here.

We liked the size of the room and the view from the terace.
We liked the size of the room and the view from the terace. There was a refresment waiting for us (coffe, juice, water, small cake). Room was clean, nice smell. But we spent there a night in January and the heating was not working. I wanted to reheat by warm shower, but there was not enought hot water to even wash my hair. I was frozen and catch a cold over the night. The bed was very noisy with each small move. The window was oposite to a building, very dark inside. All I will remember is dark and cold room. Shell I add how long we were looking for a place to park the car in those tiny streets?

We spent two nights here in winter, which was enough. The temples took a full day, give them time. Lots to see in the old town with plenty exercise climbing all the steps.
Lots of great bars and restaurants.

We visited here because we wanted to see the Valley of Temples. We ended up adding a day to our visit to explore the city and relax at Villa Athena Resort, which is really near the archelogical site.
Agrigento has many great restaurants and patisseries to help you increase your waistline. Many shops to buy nice clothes and jewelry on the main street Via Atena.
Also just a few minute drive to the beach, which offers lots of parking and restaurants.

We loved the old town with narrow streets and many intimate piazza’s. We found it a bit difficult accessing and using public transport so we walked everywhere. Everything of archeological interest was quite close, the churches were beautiful but a little more subdued than most. The food was delicious, our air bnb host was excellent. It wasn’t difficult to park the car free as well.
Great location at the top of the old city of Agrigento next to the Cathedral. An authentic home experience with fantastic hosts Alfonso & his wife. We got lots of helpful advice and information from our hosts who informed us of the unique features of this part of Sicily. Breakfast was exceptional with local delicacies. Our food was served on the beautiful local ceramics. It was one if the best bnbs we have stayed at. The hosts are very dedicated to their guests. Would definitely recommend this bnb to everyone.
The location is perfect. It is close to the train station, easy to find, and very convenient for catching a bus to The Valley of the Temples or getting to the main bus station for inter-city buses.
The breakfast was simple but with ample choices. Nice coffee was served, as you would expect in any decent Italian place. :)
The guesthouse is adjacent to the busy old town, where you will find loads of nice eateries and bars. We went the far end and had one of the most amazing cocktails in our Sicily trip.
The staff, especially Salvatore, are gracious, helpful and fun to talk to. The facility is beautiful and I wish we could have stayed longer. We were there traveling through Sicily and wanted to see the valley of the temples - which is close by and you can actually see from the property. Breakfast was fantastic - all homemade and like everything else, the service was excellent. The dogs, and peacocks and birds added to our enjoyment. There would be no point in staying anywhere else in the Agrigento area.
Superb location in old Agrigento with parking close by. In a lovely old building with no elevator. Excellent soundproof windows. Roof terrace overlooking the city, Valley of the Temples and the sea. Breakfast on the terrace is to die for. I can say the food and hospitality even outweighed the view. If you are driving, head just past the inn on the right to the private parking area. And just down the street is Boccerie, who make the best pizza in all Sicily (maybe Italy).
Fortunately we had the entire place for ourselves. Met the owners who we communicated through Google Translate they were absolutely wonderful people and had a good laught. The place probably the best place in Sicily for us tastefully done House and bathroom. One of the comfiest beds we have slept in and very well located. You got to go to a nearby cafe for breakfast. You got to also goto the Sal8 restaurant nearby probably the best restaurant we have been to in Sicily
On our 2 week trip of Sicily, this was one of our favourite accommodations. Although not in the heart of Agrigento, it was an easy drive to the town centre and all the surrounding attractions. The onsite parking was a welcomed bonus! The hostess was delightful & informative and a great baker. Her breakfasts were above average! The room & bathroom, were modern, clean and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this B&B!!
Fantastic hotel! We stayed only one night as part of our honeymoon trip to Sicily and really didn’t want to leave. We got a room upgrade upon arrival and could enjoy the view of the temples from our bedroom - amazing. The room was equipped with everything you could need, including luxury toiletries and top end hairdryer. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant on site and the food was brilliant. Would definitely recommend.
Krysos Luxury Rooms were our best stay in Sicily, by far. Andrea is taking care of every single detail to make his guests feel comfortable. He helped us with the parking, he gave us very useful information about where to park for visiting sites, and also good recommendations for restaurants. The apartment was spotless clean, well appointed, quiet, and it looks better in reality compared with the pictures.
The structure is beautiful, and set in lovely, peaceful surroundings on a hill slope. The spacious room had been fully refurbished in excellent taste; it was very new and modern, while maintaining touches of traditional Sicily. The bathroom was large, equally new, modern and had a fantastic rain shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. The room led out onto a terrace. The views were amazing.
We’ve found everyone in Sicily very friendly, and that includes everyone at all the hotels we’ve stayed at, but the welcome at Giafra still stands out. Friendly, helpful, generous and generally lovely. And the place is very comfortable and smart, well-appointed, with excellent breakfasts (with beautifully decorated cappuccinos). We’d stay there again very happily, and hope we will.
We had a booking in Agrigento but did not feel safe in the township so made a last minute booking for Hotel Villa Athena, a small luxury hotel set within an olive Grove in the valley of the temples. It was amazing from start to finish, customer focused, comfortable, amazing food and wine, and a front row view of the valley of the temples. I cannot recommend highly enough.
I can’t say enough about the breakfast. Our best and most authentic meal of the day and each day Sandro packed a snack bag that more than kept us going on our road trips. Much of it from his farm! Fabio is a delightful host - went out of his way to guide us to Casa Tita and make us feel right at home. Sincere and welcoming. Best stop on our 10 days in Sicily.
Excellent location, with a nice view from the windows. Beautiful restored apartment. Love the ceiling and floors, with the biggest bathroom I had in a hotel. Comfortable bed and sofa bed!!!
The owner was very kind to let us leave our suitcases in the property after the checkout. Highly recommended for a wonderful stay in Agrigento.
The best accommodation we had in our road trip from Sicily. The only regret I have is that we only stayed one day. The location is excellent, and room no.1 is the best with see view balcony and a very beautiful design. If we return to Agrigento we will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this place!
Everything about our stay at La Terrazza di Empedocle was fantastic--the room, the view from our room, the breakfast, and the wonderful owners, Chiara and her husband who made us feel special. The daily breakfast was the best we experienced in Sicily. Perfetto!
The best hosting we had in Sicily, extremely nice and helpful host, big and very comfortable rooms, moreover there were radiators in the room, so it was pretty warm there.
The breakfast was super tasty and overall hosting was outstanding! We liked everything
Darling B&B just off the main shopping/restaurant street, thoughtful touches, most beautifully presented and delicious breakfast in our 9 days in Sicily. Incredible value; friendly, helpful owner. We would stay here again!😊😊
All was magnificent I went to this hotel with my father.
We did a bike trip of all Sicily and we had amazing support from staff.
All the amenities were in perfect shape and all good for a visit to this city.
