Lovely location for my 60th Birthday. We were on an Island tour on our Royal Enfield motorbikes and we chose this location as the place to stay for my birthday. We had a lovely room overlooking the mangroves. Huge bed big shower. Mosquito plug in repellers and air conditioning. The staff were fabulous amazing chef- I had 2 lobster dishes which were heaven. We were given a complimentary arrival drink which was a lovely touch. Felt authentic and was relaxing

Great staff and wonderful location.

Lunch offered in addition to 900 Mur, undoubtedly one of the best Creole lunches in Mauritius (I lived there for 3 years, I speak with knowledge). The concept of community living where we help ourselves to local tea/juice and where we prepare our cocktails with complete confidence (payment at the end of the stay). Many activities are available (VTT, Walks, kayak, darts, archery, pétanque, volleyball, or simply sharing conversations around the many friendly places surrounding the swimming pool => there is much to enojoy and one day/night would not be enough). The eco-tent is comfortable and original, clean and adapted with a terrace and a shower.

I got egg ,bread and butter with a cup of tea for breakfast.

The host is super kind and helpful. The apartment is quite large but basic. The bathroom situation is not optimal (the zink is in the kitchen). I just stayed there for 1 night and did not use the kitchen facilities.

My husband and I stayed at Shangri-La Le Touessrok in Mauritius for nine nights, from May 8th to May 17th, 2024, in the Frangipani Suite (half board). Our experience was exceptional. Warm Welcome Upon arrival, we were escorted to a beautiful lobby with comfortable seating and chilled drinks while the check-in process was handled seamlessly, a refreshing change from usual check-in queues. Outstanding Staff Special mentions: Our Butlers: Odesh and Clarel, who ensured we never lacked anything. Iqbal Goolfee (SM Duty Manager), Jessan Kadun (Front Office Manager), Hassen (Guest Relations Manager), and the front office team, including Dinesh and Clarette, who anticipated our needs. Deepak, who was incredibly helpful and informative. Concierge and Activities The concierge team was welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable, handling our booking requests and last-minute cancellations with grace. CHI SPA The CHI SPA is phenomenal, with luxurious facilities and attentive staff, especially Geraldine. The delicious teas and premium L'Occitane toiletries were delightful. Dining Experience The food was outstanding. Le Bazar offered a wide variety of cuisines each evening, with plenty of vegetarian options. Breakfast included fresh South Indian Dosa and Aaloo Parathas. Saffron restaurant served exceptional Indian food, with special thanks to Chef Ahmed, Umesh, and Dev. Recreational FacilitiesThe well-maintained tennis courts and clean swimming pools were impressive. The beach service, including cold water, towels, fresh fruit, and sorbet, was excellent. The white sandy beach was perfect for barefoot walks. Private Island:Shangri-La’s private island, accessible via a short boat ride, is serene and immaculate. The facilities and staff made it an ideal place to relax.

The Host Rajesh and Madhvi were very hospitable. We rented a car thru them at a good rate. 👍

The location is great: sleeping in the bubble on the beach is an extra ordinary experience! The island is very beautiful. Personel is very friendly. Boat trip to the island nice.

Exceptional location, the staff are very attentive and the facilities perfect. Great if you like nature and hiking. I will no doubt stay here again.
