Le Palais is the main town in Belle Ile, which is well named as it is beautiful. It has restaurants, creperies and interesting shops as well as tourist ones. Many people sail here and moor for a night or several. There is a fine 17th century citadel overlooking the town and a little harbour with lots of watch.

Le Palais is a strikingly pretty town, with a beautiful harmony to the streets and buildings. Sitting near the harbour for a drink or dinner (I mean the harbour behind the port where the ferries come in) is an absolute delight. We loved watching the fishmongers prepare the fish in the market too.
Get up early to get yourself an electric bike to explore the island. So much beauty, so many hidden coves and fabulous beaches...

walk from ferry port a very comfortable 5 minutes, lots of restauraunts bars and shops to wander, lovely harbour, little known fact they have a purple line on the pavement if you follow it it takes you right to the bus terminus
Great apartment right in the center of Le Palais. I was here, for a week, with my (2) 16 years old teenagers and this was a very convenient location to allow them to wander safely. Plenty space for the 3 of us. The place has everything you need, well furnished. Walking distance to everything, including the ferry. Host was very nice and available when I had questions.. Would recommend and rent it again.
A very comfortable room with a view overlooking the port of Le Palais. Beautifully decorated through out the hotel. Modern shower room. In a quiet location. An exceptional breakfast, with mainly organic , local produce. Plenty of variety each day. The staff were helpful and friendly. 10 minute walk to port and all commerces. Restaurants and bars all within walking distance.
Ideally located in a quite corner, pretty close to Le Palais and 50 m awau from a small nice beach. A little bit isolated though. Not exactly a walking distance from the Le Palais, probably 20 minutes' walk to the center, we took a car. A brand new house, very clean and super-equipped.
The hotel has a wonderful location and has a lot of charme and history. The staff was very friendly and professional.
The common areas were a little worn out but still very nice and cosy. A very original hotel.
We had a light cheese plate in the garden, under the sun, in the late afternoon. Breakfast was excellent.
We have enjoyed the electric cycles (to hire directly at the hotel).
Great team.
A very nice stay!
Stayed here before, lovely hotel right next to where the ferry docks. You can sit outside and watch the world go by in the busy little port. Rooms are ideal and very clean.
Simple but comfortable room with wonderful view of the little harbour at Le Palais. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is great, one of the best ever in France.
Excellent location two minutes from beach and ten minutes walk from Le Palais. Very pleasant sitting area with lots of daylight and beautiful view from window.
It is very well located, a few steps from the centre of Le Palais and the harbour. It has all the commodities you could expect even a brand new smart TV.
