Really enjoyed our holiday. The outdoor areas are excellent for eating and relaxing in garden.
Nice little mountain Town with plenty of restaurants.
Nice little mountain Town with plenty of restaurants. Beautifull scenic routes in the area as we were just passing through to spend the night. There are plenty of outdoor activities in this area which is a nature reserve.
The room was a pretty normal hotel room in an old building. It was absolutely OK.
Though it was extremely hot in the day I was there, the temperature in the
room was OK. There was no air conditioning, but the walls were really thick. and
the building was in the shadow in the afternoon. Breakfast was fine and the
people were really nice. They had a room in the house where I could store my bicycle.
A good stay always comes down to the people and the guy running this place could not have done more to make guests comfortable. Whilst the hotel is fairly basic everything was clean, the room was bright and the surrounding area if you like walks or cycling is stunning. The town out of season was closing down but still a few places open to drink and eat.
The hotel staff was very nice to us and our room was right next to the Jonte river so we could hear its soothing lapping through the open balcony door during the night. The restaurant was alright and the breakfast good for French standards. Plus the pool is a delight and in the evening it's a lot of fun to just sit outside with everyone else.
What a lovely friendly unpretentious hotel. It has so much character, and combines that with genuine friendly welcome, good size room for a family, and great night’s sleep.
An incredible comfortable hotel in a large park with beautifully decorated and spacious rooms. The service was outstanding. We stayed a week and it was a perfect vacation.
