Not a good place to visit if you have a dog.
Not a good place to visit if you have a dog. Banned from the beach and also the promenade along the top of the beach. Some bars and shops were friendly others not so. Seemed to have a lot of belgian and dutch travellers who were more welcome. My french isnt good but I did try. We went mid april and to be honest i dont think the 'season' had started yet . Half the shops not open and pretty much everything except the hotels shut down by 7pm.

Small nice village. A few restaurants for dinner at night.
Small nice village. A few restaurants for dinner at night. With current Covid situation, you need to reserve a table upfront to get a place. What I don't understand is that dogs are not allowed on the walkway along the beach.

Parking was difficult as there were so many beach goers during a heatwave. It has old-world charm and was obviously once an elegant seaside resort. It is a pity that there no bars or cafes right on the beach - it would be wonderful to look onto the sea whilst having a drink/dinner.

A beautiful little French coastal town with an excellent sandy beach. The town is within easy reach of many WWII museums. Many are within minutes away from the town by vehicle. The surrounding countryside in land is very similar to the lowlands of Scotland. Motorcycle riders will find it delightful.
Le Normandy is a classic looking hotel. Very charming in style, as well as sweet and helpful staff. We only stayed one night, which was perfect, but I could definitely see myself staying a couple nights more. The location is great, walking-distance to the beach and other cities are easily and quickly accessible. Breakfast was also lovely and extensive. I would book here again.
In a quiet rural location near Wissant, we had a clean and comfortable room with free water and tea/coffee facilities. There was also a nice garden to sit out in. Delicious continental breakfast included in room price with some home made products including cakes, yoghurts and jams. Anne the host was lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. Highly recommended.
The surface of the rooms is great (equivalent of junior suite in a hotel). It is very quiet and well situated near restaurant and beach. The apartment was lately refurbished. Accessing the property by code lock for the main building and then the key near the apartment door was very easy: complete freedom.
The apartment is very bright, spacious and cozy. We felt like at home.
Wissant is a lovely town with stunning surroundings. Absolutely wonderful area to explore … the apartment was perfect, few minutes from the sea side, from the centre, a big parking space just by the door, all was very comfortable
The staff are very friendly and try hard to welcome you. English is very limited if at all but they try. The hotel was recently renovated and they are making improvements. The restaurant was good and very popular.
This is a modern 1st floor appartment in a quiet road within walking distance to all the amenities in Wissant, a lovely small village which we had previously visited in 1995 with our family.
Very authentic, charming old-fashioned hotel, in a good location. Very friendly staff, who put up with my terrible French patiently and also spoke English.
