The food was lovely...Both Breakfast and dinner! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I am going to make a very, very bold statement here and say that it was possibly the nicest hotel pint of Guinness I have ever had, or ever will have.
The room was very well finished, modern and clean. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way.

Have been to Carlow before so knew what I wanted to see and do. Dinn Rí was the perfect location for me near to shops and very easy for meeting up with friends. The Cafe next to the reception had a lovely menu and good coffee. All staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful.

Ann could not be more helpful when our friend fell ill.
Ann could not be more helpful when our friend fell ill. Got paramedics in and she was taken to hospital. Allowed us to stay on to enable us to visit her. Did washing of nighties for our friend. In my opinion she went over and above to help us. Ann is a lovely lady.
I couldn't recommend this hotel more. I travel a lot for work and the staff were the best I've ever come across in any hotel.
We were welcomed and made to feel at home right from the start.
The food is great we had dinner and breakfast and it was great food. Again the staff were so polite and cheerful and made it a lovely experience.
The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable and we couldn't hear any noise even though the hotel is so central.
Will be recommending to everyone
The best couple of days we have had for a long time. Both hosts Ann and her husband amazing couple. We didn't feel like on holiday.. we felt like at home with family.. Property in perfect distance from ferry, Dublin, Carlow and couple of more big towns. Beautiful location with amazing views.. Perfect full Irish breakfast for meat eaters (my partner) and vegetarian options (myself). Great comfortable en-suite rooms with amazing views. Definitely will book again.
Lovely house in the grounds of Woodford Dolmen Hotel only a few miles from Carlow.
Was exceptionally clean and the owners had thought about the little extras such as providing slippers, toiletries and food on arrival.
The house warmed up so quickly which was needed in January.
You can eat and drink easily in the hotel just a short 1 min walk away.
We will definitely use again if visiting Carlow again in the future.
Avlon House is a modern purpose built B & B that is spacious and tastefully decorated throughout to make for a very comfortable stay. Tom and his team do a great job in looking after their guests and we certainly left with a view that this was one of the best B & B's we'd stayed in during our three week stay in Ireland. Tom also gave us some great tips on various gardens to visit while we sere staying in Carlow
From the moment we arrived, Pauline made us feel very welcome in her home. The house is located in the beautiful Carlow countryside and it's a real home. We spent our Friday night in front of a roaring fire in the lounge and rose to a lovely breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend.
The Town House has great location, easy access to Carlow Town and the M9 motoraway. Very modern and comfortable house with TV and Wifi Broadband.
Loved the treat of scones on arrival and milk in the fridge for tea or coffee! We will be back!
Parking was really easy in public lot just behind the hotel. Location was central and appealing. Room was lovely; modern and clean and quiet (no concert that night). Breakfast in the cafe across the court was bountiful.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Carlow. Room was clean and comfortable and the staff were lovely. We found parking on the road almost immediately outside which was free from 18.30 to 08.30.
