Accra, the vibrant capital of Ghana, offers a rich tapestry of culture, history, and modernity. This bustling metropolis boasts beautiful beaches like Labadi and Kokrobite, where visitors can unwind and enjoy the Atlantic Ocean. Accra is a city with many layers.
Accra is a city with many layers. You need to take time to see all of it and the best advice is to ditch Google and ask the local taxi drivers for what ever you fancy. Be specific and don`t be shocked to find first world restaurants tucked away in obscure run down streets. Stay away from tourist traps as Ghana is expensive as it is and malls charge over and above for things you can have in the city for less.

The sightseeing tours were most enlightening.
The sightseeing tours were most enlightening. Learning about the history of the country and the people was eye opening. It was so much more than what we have been taught in schools and what we see on TV. The people we encountered were very pleasant and welcoming. Visiting the museums and other historic sites was absolutely amazing. The restaurants and the food was delightful. Some of the most beautiful restaurants. As well, Mosques and Churches were always nearby.
I stayed 10 days and visited 5 of the 16 regions. I will return to see and experience more.

Title: Beware of Deceptive Andy at TheLennox in Accra
Title: Beware of Deceptive Andy at TheLennox in Accra
I booked a room at TheLennox in Accra through Booking.com, which was confirmed via email and also over the phone by a person named Andy. However, my experience with Andy quickly revealed him to be a dishonest individual.
Moments after arriving at the hotel, I presented my active booking confirmation to Andy, only to find out that he had sold the room to another guest through Airbnb. Despite providing concrete evidence of my prior reservation, Andy callously claimed that the other guest had paid, and therefore, he had given the room to them instead. This behavior is nothing short of deceitful and impudent.
To make matters worse, Andy also attempted to upsell me to a room that was double the price of my original reservation. It is evident that he was trying to coerce me into paying more for accommodation. This kind of manipulative behavior is unacceptable and further underscores his untrustworthiness.
I want to emphasize the unscrupulous role that Andy played in this situation. He knowingly confirmed my reservation, then tried to push me into a more expensive room while giving away my original booking to someone else for his own gain. It's clear that he is not to be trusted.
I write this review as a deeply disappointed customer to warn others about the risk of encountering someone like Andy at TheLennox. Such unethical and dishonest behavior should not be tolerated in the hospitality industry. I strongly advise against staying at this establishment, as you may also fall victim to Andy's fraudulent actions.
Never again.
The ambiance and vibe of the hotel IMO exceeded that of any other place I've stayed in Ghana. The pool and outside courtyard area ia ao nice and serene. The area is very walkable and has an amazing Tea Buffet nearby thats a must tty for food and/or drinks. There's security around 24/7 and the girls at the front desk are very polite and helpful. Our breakfast was plentiful and delicious and even as I was wiriting this the gentleman called to let us know breakfast was ready! Can't wait to come and stay again
Beautiful home beyond our expectations , felt cozy and warm like home . My family and I have enjoyed our stay in Ghana. The house is located in a save , secure , beautiful and peaceful neighborhood very close to Presidential palace , 37 Military hospital and Aurora apartments . My kids have enjoyed playing in the big garden. The Host of the house was friendly and helpful in everything that we needed. I would definitely recommend it to all my friends and will be using it again on my next vacation. 💛💛✨🙌

I highly recommend the hotel and started to recommend to friends and family. I hope to return soon for another visit. What I liked most about the property was the caring, respectful and warmth of the staff especially the hotel manager Mavis, who followed me up before during and after my return to ensure I was happy, comfortable and had nothing wanting - she went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable stay in my first trip to Ghana
It was a very nice and clean apartment. The owner was really nice and gave us a lot of good tips for traveling through ghana. He also helped us when we had to extend our stay and was always reachable via WhatsApp to answer our questions. It was really really clean and well kept. We enjoyed our stay very much. We will definitely book it again when we visit ghana for the next time.
All the staff I encountered were all very friendly and helpful
Fair selection of food and drinks to help yourself at breakfast.

Very good pool area with loungers. A nice place to relax.
The recently finished games room is a nice addition
Tea/ coffee making facilities in the room were appreciated {unexpected in Ghana}
Jeff (Manager) is a pretty nice and hospitable person. He came to check on us couple of times and gave us a welcome traditional Ghana drink. The staffs are great and always willing to help. The facility is beautiful and well designed - cozy. The environment actually has beautiful houses that are pleasing to the eyes. I like the hotel's flooring, design and serenity.
The meals were super generous, wholesome portions of delicious Ghanaian and continental cuisine, especially their breakfast! Most food I have had in a hotel for sure. The room service was also good.
Ghanaians are the some of the most welcoming people I have ever met, the staff were very pleasant and welcoming.
My stay here was phenomenal. I love that its located at the centre of Osu just off Oxford street which has a lot of amazing places of interest. Their staff were very friendly and willing to assist with everything. They also have very strong wifi. I would definitely stay here when I visit Ghana again.
this is an excellent option for anyone wishing to come to Ghana. The place is quiet and only a 2 min walk to the main road if you’re looking to get a car. The staff are so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. highly recommend.
This luxury apartment was easy to find , and was well- accessible to many sub-towns. The air-conditioned was great. The best that I had ever since my subsequent visits to Ghana. The staffs are also friendly and are always a call away😇
THE PROPERTY IN TOTALITY. THE ENVIRONMENT WAS VERY CLEAN AND WE LOVED OUR STAY THERE AT THE PROPERTY. THE KITCHEN AND BATHROOM ARE WELL SET UP. WILL LOVE TO STAY AT THE PROPERTY AGAIN WHEN NEXT I VISIT GHANA.
We enjoyed our request for a ground floor room being honored. The professional, personable and sincere hospitality of the staff was 15 STARS!! I will recommend heartily the Alisa Hotel Labone.
