The first impression was the people, all of them are really nice and welcoming. Furthermore, we took a personalized tour that took us to the Belem Tower, then to the new town, and finally to the old town. Very nice views, and great history. I liked the most the market at the Rossio Square. I didn't like that it was difficult to find options besides sea food.

My recommendations - - Sintra and Pena day trip 10/10 - Go through to Belem - Taxi was 10 Euro from Rua Augusta - Sunset Cruise - book on the day of travel - too exposed if raining. - Lapita Pizzeria is amazing one of the best we've tried ever. - Roof-top bar visit is a must (there are plenty) - Bonjardim Piri Piri is excellent - expect to queue but they are quick. - Fada show - interesting from musical, cultural and social history. - Best Pastel de Nata (cakes) in Lisbon we tried was Manteigaria – rated as the probably best in Lisbon., one is on Rua Augusta. - Get Uber or Bolt App on your phone - very cheap for Taxis.MarkUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

First time to Lisbon. Friendly vibrant city. Good mix for everyone. Not too busy with people but enough to enjoy sitting at a cafe watching the day go by. Shops, cafes, restaurants in every street. Very safe and full of energy. The castle was good to visit. Great views of the city and waterways. Will definitely visit again.

Lisbon is a good city to visit with a lot of things to see. The pavements were rather grubby and often a bit smelly, and I dread to think what ended up on the soles of my trainers. The machines to buy tickets for the metro occasionally took my money but I didn't get a ticket. Therefore only buy one ticket at a time. I went in the first week of June and the temperature was 30-34 degrees centigrade, which was too warm for me. If I return to Lisbon, I would go between October and March.AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

Lisbon was great for our first visit. It is hilly though so not great for wheelchairs or walkers with difficulties. Lots of great restaurants and transport links are great. Went to Sintra one day which is beautiful and worth a visit. We also visited the Benfica football stadium and did the museum and stadium tour - brilliant and well produced. Great location (in between 2 metro stops, 30 minutes from airport, 10 minutes from the coast); great staff, very helpful, kind; good room cleaning; breakfast is not really quality, but the bakery and sweets are good. Bed was huge, pillows were good. WiFi 6.

Pool and bar area are as beautiful as the photos show. The cocktails, bar food, and breakfast are as good as any 5 star hotel. Good sized room, balcony, bathroom. Fantastic shower. Thomas the Concierge took extra care of us, and when my sunglasses broke, the handyman repaired them. Any issues were addressed immediately. We watched the supermoon rise over Lisbon from the cosy bar seats. A beautiful place. Love this hotel.
