The view from our terrace was fabulous! We had an apartment, it was quite large and comfortable. The restaurant was superb, and we had dinner there for two nights. By the way, we stayed there 2 nights, not just one. I had made an error and had to book a single night twice.
Oceano is a charming beachfront hotel in the centre of Nazaré. Guests can watch traditional Portuguese wooden fishing boats floating by on the horizon from Oceano’s restaurant.

Beautiful fishing village with real Portuguese flair.
Beautiful fishing village with real Portuguese flair. We have been there three times in the last 15 years. My wife's favorite and dream place. The city is slowly going through a transformation and is becoming more touristy, but we can't judge that hardly since we were always there before or after the season. On the weekends, we noticed a little negatively the many tourist buses that flooded the city for an afternoon.

Nazaré is beautiful.
Nazaré is beautiful. It's a great place to chill and watch the sea. The beach is wide and clean. All the restaurants and bars in the area (that we tried) were great. Shopkeepers were kind and helpful. Be sure to get up to the Lighthouse and check out the Surf Museum. Super cool. It's 2eu to get in and totally worth it. The views up there are awesome. Seriously, I have not one negative thing to say about it.

Nazare was wonderful. I wear accommodations were great.
Nazare was wonderful. I wear accommodations were great. Gil the manager was amazing with us. In fact my friend left her coat in the closet. When they cleaned the room he found it and sent me messages and mailed it to a spot where we could pick it up. That was amazing.
The apartment was adorable It was perfect for our purposes the view from one bedroom of the ocean was amazing. The view off the kitchen balcony was great and we could see the ocean as well. This is a perfect apartment for two people sometimes for.
I would certainly book that again if I were to be in that area. Thank you

Quaint little town with local vibes, great for a few days visit. It was very chilled and quiet and surrounded by beautiful forest. Cuisine is mainly fish and seafood, though there are plenty of Italian and meat places. Also choc a block with gelaterias!!! We caught Carnaval and it was fun to see the cavalcade and the locals dressed up.

What I liked best was seeing the big wave surf contest.
What I liked best was seeing the big wave surf contest. There were these amazing and huge 20-50 ft waves that arrived in sets located near the lighthouse on the cliff at the North Beach while I was in Nazare. The beach was also very nice and wide both north and south of the lighthouse. The sunsets were spectacular, and I enjoyed watching the sun set while drinking wine and people watching at the little beachside restaurants. I also enjoyed walking down south to the marina and going north to the surf museum at the lighthouse on the big cliff in the town of Sitio. The local bus only cost €1.50 to ride from Nazare (near the central market) to Sitio where the lighthouse is located. The traditional food (seafood) was really fresh and I liked that the tradition of fish drying that is done by the fish ladies was still being practiced.

Great beach but the real action is on the hill in Sitio...
Great beach but the real action is on the hill in Sitio where there are the great surf waves to be seen in the winter months and the very impressive display of surf boards and photos of the guys who've surfed the world's biggest waves in Nazare,
Compared to the many other hotels and guest houses I've seen on my motorcycle tour in Portugal the experience at the FIKA was really exceptional. It's the spirit of the host (Veronica) that makes you feel at home immediately. The guest house was built, furnished and decorated with great attention to detail and has everything you need, even for a long stay. Next time in Nazaré, I'm sure where to go :-)
Great flat, as on the pictures. Importantly, it had very efficient heating/cooling which is important in Portugal, especially in the winter. Senor Osvaldo was an exemplary host, spoke great English, went out of his way to be helpful, was very communicative, delivered us they keys early and secured a free parking spot for us in front of the building. He also gave us valuable advice on Nazare.
In that small hotel I got a lovely room with beautiful old furniture. Everything was very clean. Mrs. Ana Maria is very kind and gave me tips about good restaurants nearby. I really enjoyed my stay and if I come back to Nazare I would stay there again, Finnally I should say that there is a big stair to access the rooms so I would not recommend it to older people (no accessibility)
One of the best guesthouse I have been during my road trip across Portugal. The room was cozy, warm, bright, finest decorated and it also has a nice view to the square and beach!
I really like the common kitchen where you can prepare yourself a tea or cooking something if you want
Cleanliness was super!
Breakfast served n the bar just in the front was also a good choice
The house is amazing. It is super cosy and we directly felt at home. The interior was fascinating. We loved our stay and on our 6 day Portugal trip it was the first and only place where we considered to stay one more night. Besides the wonderful apartment the host, Marina, is so welcoming and lovely. When we return to Nazare we will definitely go here again.
Very friendly and helpful staff - right to the point where they took you to the parking garage which is about 3 blocks away. Tight spot for parking but that seems common in Portugal. Excellent Breakfast. Room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Great bed and mattress. Location is good also. We would highly recommend this hotel.
The rooms are so clean. They are like brand new! And they have everything there. So close to the beach and market. And very accommodating for storing our luggages as we arrived early. There is a terrance that we enjoy our drinks together. Out of our 16 nights of stay in all over Portugal, this is the best value for money.
Beautiful accommodation with magic vibes. The house has everything you need and more. Wagner made us feel home and he was a super host. He gave us a lot of tips about the area and even went together to see the sunset creating one of the best memories about our trip to Portugal. Looking forward to going back already.
- Location and ocean view!!!
- Warm
- Quiet at night despite the central location, could have the window open and listen to the waves crashing
- Friendly ladies in the reception
- Clean
- Good bed linen and towels
- Shower gel in the shower (not common here in Portugal)
- Hairdryer
This is a beautiful, family-run boutique hotel in the center of Nazaré. The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating. I found the room to be clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was provided and the food was plentiful. I would definitely stay here again.
A hotel of exceptional charm, run by an owner and an extraordinary family. An incredible welcome and kindness. Everything is perfect. All, full center of Nazaré! Can’t wait to stay in this place again. The place to go, the place to sleep for your trip in Nazaré!
This property has absolutely everything you might need during your stay. There is even some beach umbrellas available for guests to use - which we appreciated a lot after a week of beach hopping in Portugal. Definitely 10 out of 10!
The property had all the modern conveniences, a big plus was how clean bright and central it was. We were literally across the street from the beautiful beach of Nazaré. Close to mercado, stores & wonderful beachfront restaurants.
My first stop in Portugal so was not used to the narrow streets, decided on rental car due to leg injury and was able to find a parking space 4 blocks away near the supermarket (which was great).
Great location! Right along the beach. Clean, helpful staff and the view was wonderful. Got there when a Festa was going on, so it was so fun. My favorite place in Portugal!
Small hotel in the walking distance form the beach and city center of Nazaré. In the city is a very big problem with the parking. Room was small but clean.
