We went during the winter season in February and it was good weather and an enjoyable stay! We were able to see the cherry blossoms! We saw komuroyama, the volcano omuroyama, did the jogasaki trail, went to kawazu to see the cherry blossoms, the imaihama beach where I definitely recommend to take a bike to go the beach! I also recommend taking a day-pass at Ito station where you can take as much as you want the subway. However, for the mountains you have to take the buses so use your pasmo / suica card or cash. I made a round trip along Ito coast. The west side is a rural area with its natural beauty and rocky beach well preserved. Not many people and houses, which fit my preference well. The east side boasts some world class white sand beaches, gorgeous rocky cliff view and small islands.Fang - 10Scored 10

We needed more time! We loved the coastline and beautiful beaches, the hikes and attractions. You need to be careful with transportation if you don't have a car: make sure you know what buses and trains you are taking in advance. City is charming, friendly and efficient people at the restaurants and shops. Safe to walk at night, my kids enjoyed the beach, and of course Jonathon’s restaurant. Ate lunch at fresh fish restaurant, swam in the ocean in September, and enjoyed the outdoor large spa onsen. My recommendation is K’s Guesthouse. Available message at the outdoor spa too!

I came here for my Open Water Diver Course. Ito has is own beauty and comfort. People travel here for Scuba 🤿, Snorkeling and other water adventures. Ito is a place to relax and enjoy your stay with a good sea view with beach side stays. Food is delicious sushi 🍣 🍱 is fresh and restaurants have their special dish everyday. I can only compare it to one of the high end suites you find for 5x the price of a regular room. Definitely will be staying here again in the future. Breakfast was one of the best hotel inclusive breakfasts I've had in Japan. The staff went above and beyond to provide assistance with anything needed and even dropped me off at the train station after my stay. The beds were super comfortable too!

We had a very spacious room with a loggia on the river, we could open the doors of the loggia to turn it into a balcony. The onsen is also beautiful, there is a private bathroom if you prefer some privacy. The hotel offers discount to 2 other onsen in the area, which are both very good. There's actually spring water sent directly to the bath tub in every room. The food is nice and beautifully prepared. Only a few staffs speak English,but they have a nice translation tablet which works accurately. There's shuttle bus service from and to the JR station. Not only the hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet, but the managers were incredibly helpful for us. We had several problems with our car and they did not hesitate one second to help us to fix our problems and even to translate our issues in Japanese to many agencies. Honestly, their presence was crucial for us to continue our journey ! Thank you so much !
