Lovely country hotel, very near to Bicester. Rooms well equipped and extremely comfortable. Excellent breakfast served by wonderful staff. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was also first rate

We were a little surprised to find that the centre of Bicester was the same as many towns we have visited this year. Somewhat gloomy, lack of individual shops, slightly grubby and dirty pavements areas, especially the pedestrian areas. However, on the positive side Safeway's was in the centre with a large free for 2 hours car park and laid out rather ingeniously.
WE believe that the Village outlet centre was located too near the centre and really dwarfed the town areas with designer brand clothes fashion ideas.
Never mind you will not please everyone all of the time.......

Our son had bought my wife a 'Drive a Fire Engine' experience and we decided to stay overnight. That part of the trip was excellent. The centre was pleasant and clean. There were plenty of charity shops (a plus) and pubs to eat in. We chose the Penny Black in town (for drinks & breakfast) and The Acorn for a meal. At The Acorn, the staff were particularly friendly and the steaks were great.
Coles Bookshop was brilliant - could've spent a fortune.
Unless you're REALLY interested in clothes, the Village is a waste of time cos there are mostly clothes shops and it took us twenty minutes to have a wander round and then leave.

We wanted to visit the Bicester Shopping Village hence the road trip from Halifax to the area.
Stopped at the Holiday Inn overnight, basic facilities but okay for the one night, watch out for the £5 parking charge plus the PodPoint chargers aren’t free here unlike the Best Westerns.
The shopping village is definitely worth a visit, plenty of shops although quite a few are the usual chains but we enjoyed the experience.
We didn’t manage to get into Bicester itself as it was raining and a bit miserable weather-wise but I’ve been there years ago and its its worth a visit especially if you are keen on photography, plenty to see and do, overall worth breaking your journey for a visit

Stayed in Bicester, a lovely town, as it was close to the Silverstone Circuit for the F1 British Grand Prix, being only 30 minutes away. Great place for expensive outlet shopping.
Easy to reach Oxford by train or car.
The house was clean and tidy, hosts made sure we had all the information needed to get there. There was always a parking space in the front of the house available. Location itself was good, close to the Bicester Village, and also about 10min walk from the town centre. Kitchen had more than enough utensils, cutlery and crockery for 3 adults and 2 kids to stay. Host was responsive to solve the issues that arose during our stay. Cot bed was provided for our stay. Overall a lovely 3 bedroom house in a nice countryside town.
What a lovely B&B Lionsgate is, in a great location for Bicester Village Outlet (5 minutes walk) and Town Centre for food at night (5 minutes also.)
Lionsgate was clean, bright and airy, beautifully decorated throughout and a spacious bedroom and en-suite. Kerrie has thought of everything, even down to phone charger, which I had forgotten. Water, tea coffee, biscuits, ear plugs (🙂) etc in room.
Breakfast was good, parking on-site...a real must if looking for somewhere to stay in Bicester. Thank you Kerrie.
The spa and gym was great. The restaurant menu was limited but the staff ( Justin) worked hard and was so friendly, he made the restaurant! The food was lovely but just not much choice on the menu. Our room was lovely.
We went to Bicester village - really close and had a day trip to Oxford ( we went via Bicester village station - cheaper and quicker than going via Bicester north station), some great local taxi company to ferry us home and was less that £10 from Bicester village station back to the hotel.
An exceptionally clean hotel and the staff can't help you enough. So friendly and such an relaxing atmosphere. The food is excellent and there's a good choice to pick from. It's only situated 10 minutes from Bicester village and 2 minutes from the town centre and all amenities, pubs etc just perfect. I definitely would book again! So here's to next time :)
Location was lovely ,country small village ,lovely gardens ,chalet was cosy and good size , all facilities were available ,fridge with water and milk ,and plenty of Tea/Coffee making items .Breakfast was amazing ,good selection ,both hosts Barbara & Troy were pleasant and helpful ,Thank you for a lovely visit
The hotel is in very good condition, great boutique hotel ambiance, lovely welcome, extremely nice staff, very comfortable room, excellent dinner, loved the decor of the rooms.
At breakfast, scramble eggs very good, orange juice very good.
But a few details need to be fixed..
room was very clean and large, breakfast was contiential and very nice staff was very helpful nothing was too much trouble
the location was excellent for the bicester outlet village only a 15 min walk away ,the kings arms is a lovely local hotel will come back to stay again,
The hotel was really nice and clean and the room was perfect, couple little finishing touches in the bathroom needs done but perfect otherwise. Lovely view from the Juliette balcony. It’s about a 5 minute drive to Bicester Shopping Village.
Modern, very clean, excellent location. Bus stop to Oxford just next to the hotel. Many guests used it as a base to shop at the nearby outlet in Bicester Village. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Good value for money.
Room was clean and recently decorated, if a little small. Hotel was opposite a pub serving good and inexpensive meals. Bus stop (for Oxford or Bicester Village, for example) was just over the road. Area was quiet over night.
The hotel is a bit old but the room is spacious and clean. The staffs are friendly. The breakfast is simple but good enough. They provided free parking and wifi. The location is good and close to Bicester Village.
Fantastic hotel, beautiful decor and the staff were very friendly. The dinner and breakfast was also gorgeous. Picturesque location and very close to Oxford and Bicester village
Location ideal as one pair travelled from the south and the other from North London, so a good connection point. Lovely location, quiet and delightful village environment.
The staff is very friendly. The hotel looks historic but the room is very clean and spacious. The bed is comfy, wifi works fast. Breakfast is good. It's a pleasant stay.
